Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of this programme was designed to help us in learning the necessary skills required to be a chef in any hotel or restaurant. It also helped us in teaching the Culinary arts. The entire course was divided into 6 semesters and it aimed at providing us knowledge regarding food production and food handling.

Placement Experience

5

The placement of our college is very nice and our college invites not only the Indian Companies but foreign culinary companies as well to provide campus placements for the students. I myself got a job in a renowned hotel at a a good post and I am also paid a satisfactory salary.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of our college is somewhat expensive and cannot be afforded by middle class families. We had to pay ?80500 in first semester, ?72000 in 2nd, 4th and 6th semester and ?77000 in 3rd and 5th semester. Thus, the total fees including examination fees and other miscellaneous charges amount to ?450500.

Campus Life

Our college don't organises many extra curricular activities and events but it do celebrate many festivals like Republic Day and Independence day. In addition to this, it also organises events which promote travel and tourism in India. These events however aren't very interesting.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is available for all the boys and girls. I have opted for a hostel and had to pay ?30000 per semester in addition to the regular fees for availing hostel facility. This fees include mess charges. Our hostel rooms were excellent and they were well maintained and properly cleaned daily.

Admission

I had to complete some formalities and also had to take an entrance test to get admission in the college. They entrance test wasn't very difficult and it tested my general knowledge, English language and aptitude skills. After clearing this round, I had to fill the admission form with prescribed fees and submit other documents. In this way, my admission was completed.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of our college is highly qualified. Since our college comes under the Ministry of Tourism, hence they appoint highly professional and experienced staff. This 3 year journey with my teachers was quite pleasant and I enjoyed learning about the reel and real world from them.
