Best government college

It is masters degree in genetics and plant breeding. Our course includes total 4 semesters, of 6 months each. This course is truly interdisciplinary, includes subjects like botany, forest and wildlife ecology, genetics, horticulture, plant pathology, entomology and related science. Our course duration is two years. This course consist a lots of industrial & farm visits for students to make them industry ready. Overall the course is chill but its totally depends on students how they schedule their studies.

As this is a government institute, so students pass out from here are always in demand. Mostly my batchmates are at top positions in market like agronomist, in agricultural ministry, in plant breeding centres while some are completing higher educations like ph.d. Many of my friends are senior research fellow in government research institutes.

There are many events celebrated in our college. Mainly events related to environment and ecosystem are celebrated by college. Events like cultural fest, sports activities, holi & diwali celebrations conducted by college. Kisan Bachao program is main event in our college which include nukkad natak by students.

The fees is very feasible here. The total fees of our college is 6,000. Fees can be easily paid by NEFT and through online banking. Students from low income family can complete their education from here easily.

Our college organizes various extracurricular activities like nukkad natak, cultural societies, sports societies, green society which mainly includes activities for environment. There are various workshops included in our college like interaction from farmers etc. It helps in making student confident, improving their basic skills.

I selected this course over other course because I did B.Sc in same and this course offer lots of opportunities in future like scientific officers, molecular genetics, associate professors and much more. I got admission in this college by qualifying the entrance exam of the institute. One can also get admission by qualifying IIT JAM or NIPER JEE.

Faculties are good, helpful and supportive. They are always ready to help students in academics, research, events. They always encourage us for studies. All faculties are highly skilled and doctorates here. Some teachers focus on syllabus more while some focus on research and development of the students.
