We had merit rank based admission procedure at that time to secure a sheat .One should have one minimum required percentage on previous exams and at merit rank one can take admission for various courses.

I got admission in Faculty of life sciences for three year graduation degree and my electives were Zoology, Botany and Anthropology with foundation course.

We never had internships for under graduate Degree courses. Only some of the departments like Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Department of Gel logical Science had some palacement along with internships companies Galaxo, Ranbaxy, Lupin and Geological Survey India, some other mining MNCs had palacment interviews.

It all was dependent on one's self. We never experienced campus interveiws and direct placements. We never had internships for under graduate Degree courses. Only some of the departments like Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Department of Gel logical Science had some palacement along with internships companies Galaxo, Ranbaxy, Lupin and Geological Survey India, some other mining MNCs had palacment interviews.

That time fee structure were Super feasible and cheap fee along side also had India's one of biggest library at very nominal charges. In regular cources one had to pay 1000 INR. For tuition fees and 1000 INR. For examination fees. Whereas technical studies like Pharma, Geology, MBA, Engineering cources had expensive fee structures and these departments were taking semester fee, semester exam fee, vocational training charges with approx 10000 INR /semester tuition fees.

All Government scholarships, with some university provided scholerships. No loan were offered at that time.

We have alumni network and alumni meetings takes place time to time. We never had alumni for under graduate Degree courses till I studied. Only some of the departments like Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Department of Geological Sciences had some alumni network of their darpments students along with post graduate cources. Galaxo, Ranbaxy, Lupin and Geological Survey India, some other mining MNCs had palacment interviews.

Yearly examination pattern were followed at that time. Exams had some stress caused but after that all seemed cool and chilled.

My faculty were outstanding Professors and Assistant Professors and very well known scientist of the corrosponding subject. And I would on that time the standard of all faulty and establishments were of world class education system.
