Course Curriculum Overview

The course is of two years for those who wish to brush up their analytical and applied skills in the field. They are trained in various fields of research and academics. The curriculum is designed to fit all the necessary topics in it.

Placement Experience

All the students have been placed through capus recruitment process in mostly corporate sector. Many of the companies such as American Express,Bank of America, Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics,ANZ Capital Private Limited and so on, have recruited the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The tuition fees per semester for this course are 16,000 rupees, that is 64,000 rupees for two years. The fees are affordable and feasible for the students. Apart from this, students at Ph.D level get a stipend as well.

Campus Life

The institute organizes various intellectual workshops, seminars, conferences, speeches and debates. The students actively participate in it with enthusiasm. The activities take place throughout the year.

Admission

The students who want to take admission for M.Phil have to have minimum of least 55% aggregate marks for Economics and 60% aggregate marks for other subjects. They even have to clear the entrance test and the interview for this.

Faculty

The faculty of this institution are available all thebtime and they teach well. Mostly the lectures take place in english to avoid any kind of language barrier amongst the students. They give out both practical and theory knowledge.

The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

My college is well known for its co-curriculum. It conducts different different competitions for students for example:- 1) Debate competition 2) Postermaking competition 3) Slogan making competition 4) Paper presentation competition 5) Research based activity And many more Our college also conduct Ganesh festival And celebrate the festival. The whole 10 days one day we have Garba other day we have dandiya we have singing competition, dancing competitions. We have a DJ night we have sports conducted on Ganesh festival. PG not given any campus you will get a job on your ability. We have to prepare for set net after MSc but there are some companies visited college like Wipro. They provide job but the salary is around 25000 per month.
