Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is really good and the teachers too are well versed with latest technological development as many of them are related to the Research field. The exams are taken frequently but I think the intensity of it can be slightly increased.

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is kind of average but the placement cell is undergoing many active changes so as to improve the current placement scenario of the college. Many new recruiters are coming in to hire good researchers .

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible and also you get lot of scholarships like community scholarship, mark based scholarship, cast scholarship, sports scholarship and many more. Fees reduction is also done for poor peoples and also the bus transportation fees is completely free for everyone.

Campus Life

Here both genders are treated equal we have 50-50 ratio of students in both gender and the compus life is fantastic. You have freedom to enjoy with regulated rules. Laboratory equipments are updated with latest technology regularly, sports kits are purchased annually and every year our college will win atleast 2-3 zonal prizes in sports.

Hostel Facilities

The college provides separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The infrastructure of the hostel is good and the rooms are spacious and airy. The mess food is average and purified drinking water facilities are there .There is even a entertainment room installed with television and other indoor games .

Admission

The minimum eligibility criteria for applying in any of the Ph.D courses is, the candidate should have done Master? in M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.Pharma./M.V.Sc. or equivalent qualification with min. 60% marks in Life Sciences. Admission to Ph.D. will be granted to the students who will clear the Entrance Exam followed by Interview.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is really good and holds an expertise degree in their respective fields. They are very motivating and encouraging both in terms of theoretical and practical knowledge. They also teach us good moral values.

those course curricullams at central university of odisha is thought fully designed ,offering a balanced blend of theoretical depth and practical relevance. on eof the key reason why students opt for such courses like int mathmatiss is the seamless academic progression and strong foundation it provides for research and comprdative exams. that curricullum could be more better as it can be more practical. what we are studing is like 80% theory and just 20% practical. so i do think that could be more better. the quality needs to be improved.

Placement Experience:

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.
