Remarks
The college campus is situated in a very beautiful state that we all know. But the area around the college is also very green and lively. You get to breathe fresh air all the time, if you are a hostelier.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college follows semester pattern. We had 3 years course and exams were to be taken twice in a year. The textbooks were enough except for a few topics we had to take reference from other sources. But those topics were also easily available on internet.
Placement Experience
The job opportunities and placement packages are very rare. You need to carry out further studies. In my batch hardly someone got placed in a good firm. Few of my friends were offered desk-jobs with very less salary, all of them rejected the offer.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is very very less. For entire 3 years long course, the fees is just Rs 45,000 meaning Rs 15,000/- per annum. There are no additional charges other than tution fees. The hostel charges are exclusive of tution fees. For some remarkable seminars, they might charge you but they are not mandatory to attend.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides good amount of scholarship programmes. There are central sponsored scholarship as well as state sponsored scholarship, separately. Usually the fees of every course offered by the college is minimal but still you have the provision of scholarship.
Campus Life
I am not much involved in extra-curriculars so I don't know much. But yes, a lot events take place inside the campus. There are several cricket tournament, badminton matches, etc. The state also organises many competitions.
Admission
I took mathematics on high school, obviously because my parents pressurized me but never mind. So by virtue of having maths, I appeared in JEE, because my percentage in 12th class was not very good. But I couldn't crack JEE, so I thought of doing B. Sc from Nalbari College.
Faculty
The faculty members were not really friendly. They were onlh concerned with taking lectures, completing syllabus. They had some favourite students who sat on first bench. All the attention and existential importance was given only to them.
