Good college experience

My college is very good. Please come to my college if you want good education and good network.

I took IIT JEE and got a rank of 4591. I wanted to take computer science and engineering and ISM was the only one offering the same at my rank therefore I took it.

Course curriculum is pretty good in my college. All the topics which are mainstream in the industry are taught in the college. Plus there is this concept of minors in which you can get a minor degree in some other field of your interest other than you major.

I didn't do my internship in my college. Therefore i'm not aware of the stipend offered by the school. But as far as i have heard, there is no stipend offered for internship period.

Placement & job opportunities are excellent with student from our college bagging jobs in some of the best companies like google, facebook, microsoft, amazon, schlumberger, haliburton, royal dutch shell etc.

The campus life is extraordinary. We have three fests viz-a-viz concetto, basant and srijan. Concetto is the annual tech cum management fest, basant is the annual alumni reunion and srijan is the cultural fest.

The fee is among the lowest anyone could find in the entire country. The fee for the students is in the range of 50k to 80k. And there is concession or fee for the students from reserved categories i.e. SCs and STs.

MCM is provided to the students with weak family background. Other than that, there are many scholorships which are funded by the alumni. Also there are many scholarships for SC, ST students which make their stay at the college virtually free.

Hostel facilities are good but could be improved. 24 hour LAN is not provided. The internet speed is throttled to 100kbps which could be imporved a lot. Mess food is a mess and lot of initiatives need to be taken to correct that.

Senior students are very helpful. They help you in getting internships and get other stuffs done. The alumni network is very vast with alumnis in range of companies such as google, facebook, amazon, microsoft, schlumberger, shell, vedanta, cil etc.

The exam structure is that of IIT. The examinations are conducted very seriously without any cheating. The questions asked are intelluctually stimulating.

The faculty of college is really good. They strieve to impart all they know to you. All the faculties are either Phds or are pursuing the same. The expertise of each individual faculty is quite vast.
