Entrance Preview

I took IIT JEE and i choose because i want to become a software engineer. JEE admission process in 2010 was single examination haveing two papers. I choose ISM because i want become software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview

Each year CBSE published the JEE Information Bulletin. The syllabus for JEE Main 2016 will be published in detail in the brochure published by CBSE for JEE 2016. However for the help of candidates who are preparing for the engineering entrance exam we have compiled the syllabus as per previous year information brochure. The syllabus is expected to remain same as last year.

Internships Opportunities

For internship only microsoft came only and select only 3 student unfortunately i am not one of them. Microsoft offer 30-50k stipend for internship. I done my internship in SWEB infotech pvt. ltd.

Placement Experience

Placement is average in 2014 in ISM Dhanbad Microsoft 14L,Amazon 24L,Samsung Bangalore 12L,Samsung Noida 7L,Oracle 5.5L,Sapient 4.5L etc.

College Events

Main event of ism is cultural festival name is srijan. Technical festival name concetto. Alumnus Festival name is basant. In srijan mainly some star or singer came.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible in ism in over time but for junior its increasing because there fee almost twice of ours and also mess fee increasing that not the good thing.

Fees and Financial Aid

Any good scholarship or loan facility offered by ism i didn't aware of that. ISM not much support in those things.

Campus Life

Extracurricular there so many option but nobody there to trained you learn by ourself. Computer labs need to improve because most of time systm not starting.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities so poor only final year hostel sapphire is good or rest of them not good. No ac and cooler allowed in summer. Food in first year is average but after that is so bad.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Exam Structure

Exam structure is in that much plan way in first year after that is almost planed way but best thing its over with in week.

Faculty

Some are good and some are friendly. Math teachers are excellent and physics teachers don't have knowledge of physics that much JEE student have already.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Beyond the Brochures: Fun Days at BIT

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

Students become eligible for internship after 4th semester , after 6th semester the companies start coming for regular placement For cse the average was around 20 lpa with median being 16-17 lpa Companies that generally visit are - atlassian, Amazon, flipkart , BNY Mellon, cisco, Texas Instruments etc Around 140 offers were made and in a batch of 120, 100 have secured placement Placement percentage is around 92% Highest package - 65 lpa atlassian (on campus) 1.23 cr rubrik (off campus) Lowest package - 7 lpa Average - 18 - 20 lpa

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Placement Experience:

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

A two years review of Central University of Jharkhand

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.

Must Read before coming to IIT ISM Dhanbad

I had secured AIR 5860 in JEE Advanced, so i had applied for all CSE, ECE, ELECTRICAL, MNC and related branches in Top IITs. For my rank, I got IIT ISM Dhanbad in the last round. I had also got IIT Kharagpur Manufacturing Science, but I choosed to go for furture rounds as i thought doing a circuit branch in IITs is better. I could not make it to colleges that i wanted to as my rank was 5860 and belonging to the GENERAL category, the rank is too high to get into top branches of the top 7 IITS. The admission process is JEE Advanced, Elgibility is that u need to have good rank in JEE Advanced, the rank required varies from branch to branch but i can give you and idea, for our IIT ISM, CSE -> 2000 to 3500, MNC -> 3500 to 4500 , ECE -> 4500 to 6000 and so on....Read More
