Gargaon College review

The course curriculum more or less revolves around the basics of mathematics to advance research on the same. Students are allowed to refer to case studies and work on their own research. Contrary to the autonomy provided there is a rigid exam structure which is mandatory for every student.

The placement and job opportunities for a B.Sc Mathematics student is excellent and with all the extra efforts taken by the students, the teachers and the college many students are able to get placed at huge firms with an alluring package.

Extra curricular activities are organised throughout the year to develop a cohesive learning environment so that it does not put a lot of pressure on students and make their college lives memorable and happening.

There is a strong alumni network and the alumnis are extremely helpful and always available for us. They are successful and driven. I'm glad to have such seniors who are still so connected with the college.

Mathematics has always intrigued me so when I found about the B.Sc Mathematics being offered at Gargaon College, Assam I got really happy as Assam is my hometown and now I can get to study what I love without leaving my family.

The faculty of the college is outstanding. Students and teachers have a friendly bond but at the same time students have utmost respect for their teachers. I couldn't have asked for better professors who happen to be the flag bearers of many award worthy researches.
