The course curriculum was little tough. The minimum duration of the course was three years and the maximum duration was around six years. The curriculum includes both core and elective courses. Project work, laboratory work, field work are part of the curriculum.

Most of the students are very successful in their own fields after completing the course. The Research students of the institute are given stipend from the UGC/ICMR. Many job opportunities are there in the field of Drug Manufacturing companies, public Health laboratories, Blood service, Industrial laboratories, Educational Institutions.

The fees structure was little expensive as most of the students who are economically poor cannot afford to pay their fees. Students who opted for hostel accommodation also need to pay hostel fees which was not included in the program fees.

The institute gives very much importance in its extra curricular activities. These activities helps us a lot to develop our leadership qualities and speaking skills. Indoor and outdoor games were my favourite during my college days. I mostly participate in all the indoor activities.

I opted for guest house during my courses. The facilities provided by the guest house was excellent. There was AC facility in each and every room. All rooms of the guest house were well furnished with attached bathroom and toilet. Besides these, facilities like free Wi-Fi, geyser, drinking water, 24 hours water supply and many other facilities was provided by the guest house.

I got admission in this course after qualifying my master degree from a recognised university. Students after completing their master degree from science stream with a good academic record are eligible to get admission in this course.

All teachers are very talented and experienced. Teachers are strict but loving and caring. Their teaching skills are very excellent. They provide valuable knowledge to the students. Teachers are very supporting and encouraging.
