Course Curriculum Overview

The 3-year course is divided into two parts, i.e., course and research work. The course is stretched for a maximum for 1 year and rest of the time is devoted towards research so gain a practical and in-depth knowledge.

Placement Experience

The college is completely devoted towards internship and placement. Students who want to gain a practical knowledge of this field. Right before the placement, the college organises expert lectures, industrial visits, and guest lectures.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for every year is Rs.20,000/-. Apart from that, the enrolment and thesis fees for the students is Rs.10,000/-. The fees is quite nominal as compared to other Ph.D. colleges. Since it is a doctorate course, not a lot of colleges provide the same at low fees.

Campus Life

The campus is amazing and the place is filled with facilities that any student would require to conduct his research work on the thesis he picks. Though, when it comes to any event or celebration, the college is not really involved.

Admission

My admission process involved an examination followed by a personal interview for the students who got selected. But only those students who have a B.Tech, B.E., or similar degree from a recognized university are selected for the exam.

Faculty

The faculty is mind-blowing. They know so much that it is a great experience to be with them and study under their guidance. Apart from all the theoretical knowledge, they are also involved in practical demonstrations.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

The college is best for placement and club activity

Placement Experience:

In my branch, the placement is good In 2025, 150 students are placed in Wipro, infosys, Amazon and Google like companies the minimum package is seven lakh. Also in my branch one Student it is placed in Amazon with 47 lakh rupees package in college. They already prepare Student for interviews and aptitude test. The placement cell is conduct aptitude test with the Google for students for each semester in that they test our coding skills, English skills and attitude test from that they give us a detail information in which skills are lacking and on which skill we want to work

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

My college

Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS
