Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is great. It's very free for students to choose their courses and freedom in so as to when the particular course is to be taken. Exams also vary from professor to professor. It's mostly subjective only.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are really amazing in our institute. Students get placed in various companies like wipro, delloite etc. The initial package offer goes upto rupees 7-8 lakhs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is reasonable amounting to 100000 per semester. The fees are also different for students with scholarship and different caste also for people from different income brackets. There are lots of facilities here.
Campus Life
They are wonderful. There are a lot of high class facilities are available for the students. Other people from outside come to practice and work on different research fields. We have a huge size swimming pool and a very big cricket stadium. Sports are given good importance here.
Alumni/Alumna
Our alumni are extremely widespread and great. We can find our institute alumni in almost every sector of the industry in very prominent positions. They also contribute back to the institute and very willing to help out the current students as well.
Admission
Candidates need to fill the form and submit online on the official website. Admission at the IIITDM Kancheepuram is based only on All India Ranks (AIR). State Rank is not Considered for admission into IIITs.
Faculty
The faculty here is amazing. All of them are great in their field and very respected people. The teachers are very supportive in terms of solving doubts to even solving personal problems of the students. The teaching is also great.
