Course Curriculum Overview
I have a one-sided opinion for the course curriculum at the university as there were only theory subjects and several seminars. Although the course was interesting the university took many exams along with the final exams every six months and due to that, there were many hectic days.
Placement Experience
At the Calicut university, there were fewer options available for jobs as of the completion after the bachelor's degree. Students generally find jobs in private sectors or they prefer higher studies as I chose to masters program after my bachelor's degree.
College Events
As the university gave much emphasis on the academic, course structure, and curriculum, there were few events like teacher-alumni meet and national festivals celebrated at the main campus only. Apart from it, there were academic seminars at the seminar hall.
Fee Structure And Facilities
All the students at the university felt the fee structure very feasible as the amount to be paid yearly was only 2900 including the other charges. The amount was similar until the final exams got over.
Campus Life
There were few activities to do but specifically in my stream students were much busy in the lengthy curriculum. However, we played sports like volleyball, badminton, and cricket on some Sunday evenings if we got leisure time.
Admission
I managed to get admission here as my scores were quite average and I got the seat here due to the ease in eligibility criteria and I had one commerce subject in my previous education. Though the admission process was quite easy as I paid the application fees online and attached every previous academic document I had with the form.
Faculty
Faculty were from the relevant field only and they all have done specialization in certain streams and accordingly, they were given the subjects by the university to teach the students. They taught well and gave more focus on the complex topic although there were fewer lectures.
