The college is really good and the environment is also very good and the allover college crowd is very helpful and friendly. The teachers are very approachable and helpful and teach us very well. The campus life is very good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum here is well structured. The total course is of 1 year-6 months having 5 Semistars with in total of 28 subjects. We are been trained well practically as well as theoretically to work professionally in the sugar industry.
Placement Experience
We are provided with great opportunities for the job placements. The university is in contact with many good sugar industries which are willing to take us on the basis of our potentialllity. Some of the good industries are Ugar Sugars, Karnataka (unit-2), Renuka Sugars, Karnataka and many more are there.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very satisfactory and feasible for us. The 1 year- 6 month course is just for Rs. 61,000 and also the scholarship or fee concessions are available here in VSI. The allover fee structure is very feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes our college do provide with scholarships or fee concessions to its students. But the opportunities for scholarships are only on the basis of Academic achievement and excellence of the students. A student must be excellent academically to take the benefits of the scholarships or fee concession opportunities.
Campus Life
There isnt any kind of inequalities or vulnerabilities regarding Gender, Ethnicity, Race, Religion, Sexual Orientation, Politics And Economic Status. Various activities are also conducted for the students be it Cocurricular or extracurricular. Seminars are also been conducted for greater level of knowledge.
Admission
I chose to be in the field of sugar industry so after completing my BE (Chemical) I filled an offline application for the admission purpose here. And gave the entrance exam conducted as by the university. Got selected on the basis of my score and further finalised after a personal interview.
Faculty
The faculty is well qualified and experienced in there fields or departments. They are amazing mentors trying to provide us with emerging practical or vocational skills and understanding by providing us good education.
