A glimpse at my college!

The course is designed keeping in mind how the real-world applications of the subject matter is important. From the beginning to the end, the courses are such that they prepare us for the industry, not just in theory but practically too.

The placement numbers are quite impressive in the college. Seagram distilleries, United Spirits, John Distilleries, South seas distilleries, Sabmill Breweries, United Breweries, Big pitcher Brewery are some of the recruiters. The placement cell works diligently in connecting us with them.

The fee is 61,000 rupees per year. It is no doubt on the higher side, and it may not be easily accessible for everyone. Despite the infrastructure, and the placements, it is not a completely feasible amount.

There are a lot of workshops and seminars held by different dignitaries and organisations, which are all great learning experiences. There are extracurricular activities in which students participate.

Hostel is compulsory for all the students. There is a normal hostel that costs 16,000 per year, with amenities such as mess, recreational rooms and sports facilities. There's also an international hostel that costs 65000 per year, with both A/C and non A/C rooms.

I downloaded the application form and filled it up, then mailed it to the college. I was selected on the basis of a merit list they prepared, which was prepared by considering the undergraduate degree results.

The faculty members are experienced, and they know how to guide us so that we may understand everything fully. They take care in teaching us the topics, and guide us practically, so that we may succeed later.
