Central Institute of Tool Design - [CITD]

My college provide is focused on the specialised training courses in Tool Engineering. And we are provided with really good practical experiences along with the theoretical knowledgel. I am doing M.tech in mechatronics and is having good education from here. The allover campus is also very positive and good.

M.tech in mechatronics of CITD is in MOU with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) the course curriculum and the structure is well researched. We are been taught with some elative subjects along with the core subjects such as Precision Engineering, Advanced CNC Technology, Electro-Optic Systems and many more.

In the last year atleast 9 months of internship along with a project is mandatory and is a part of the course curriculum. The students are being trained for the placements. All trainees going out of the portals of CITD are mostly confident in handling Design & Manufacturing of any complicated Precision Components and Tools because of the training done by the CITD.

I am persuing m.tech in mechatronics and the fees is feasible as being a government institution. The fees of the full m.tech course is total of Rs. 88,000 We are been focused with more of practical knowledge then theory and are provided with good exposure hence the fees is also worth it.

It's a government institution so the government do provide with scholarships or loans to the students excelling in the academics or the scholarships or fee concessions may also be provided to the students from minority communities.

In CITD for enhancing the students with there skills and to strengthen their weaknesses various Cocurricularchere activities are conducted. Various guest lectures and seminars are also organised throughout the duration of the 2 years of m.tech in mechatronics course.

After completing my graduation in Btech(ECE) I chose to persue M.tech in mechatronics. As it's a combination of various fields of engineering. And I have always been very keen and interested about m.tech in mechatronics. For the purpose of selection for the admission we have to give All India level Entrance Test conducted by CITD and the intake is of only 25 students.

The teachers are very skilled and experienced teachers. Various teachers have vast experience and trained in Advanced Tooling Techniques under ILO fellowship. They are well aware of all of us students, about our strengths and weaknesses. And they help us to focus on our weaknesses.
