23 Jun, 2025 Central Institute of Tool Design Hyderabad Admission 2025 is open for the Post Diploma in Tool Design (PDTD) program. Aspirants can submit the application forms at the institute by June 30, 2025. The entrance test is tentatively scheduled for July 7, 2025. Check details here.

Central Institute of Tool Design Hyderabad was set up in 1968 by the Govt. of India. It offers postgraduate courses such as M.E, Mtech. Additionally, CITD offers diploma courses in multiple disciplines. Admission to the degree courses is based on the score obtained in CUCET and for PGD courses students are required to present TSICET score. Whereas for other diploma courses CITD conducts its own All India Level Entrance Test. Students who wish to take admission are required to apply online through the official website. The institute is well furnished with all the facilities such as Library, Documentation center, etc.

The college campus has been good environment and ragging free campus.

Admission:

First step for the admission process is that u need to crack the entrence exam with good rank .then after scores then u will be called to get into it for selecting the course in the college.after that I personally chose automation and robotics engineering in diploma .then course contains 6 semester's and 3years . 50% theory and 50 % practical . It's an future development enhancement course to get an degree of it . I prefer to choose if ur interested in the course u will get to develop ur mind set in learning how the course.

Admission:

First we have to apply for the entrance exam from the citd College website then later apply all the details and apply for the exam and pay the exam fees also and later we will get the exam date we should write the exam and wait for the result and If you get good rank you can opt a good course on the day of counseling they will provide the date of counseling

This college has a separate exam conducted by Osmania University. It has reservations about SC, ST, and physically handicapped quotas. Admission is very easy and the process is also very easy. There is a counseling process for admission.

Central Institute of Tool Design, exposed me to a vibrant atmosphere where I could approach industry leaders like Suzuki, Hyundai etcetera. The institute provided me with a cost-efficient way to pursue my Masters of engineering in Tool Design. The fee structure is more affordable as compared to other private institutes, therefore, allowing me to gain the valuable gift of knowledge.

Admission to CITD Hyderabad is done based on CUCET/TS ICET exam followed by counselling and you must have passed 12^th with 50% or more to be eligible.
