Course Curriculum Overview
Our college offered a duration of four years for the B.Tech in marine engineering course.Basically we were taught the subjects of management science and economics, basic thermodynamics, seamanship and elementary navigation.
Placement Experience
Our college provides 100% placement and each of our seniors were placed in well reputed management. Last year few of my seniors were placed in VR Maritime services pvt. ltd. , Scorpio Marine Managemenr (India)PVT. LTD.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fee i had to pay for my entire curriculum was Rs.5,00,000. I did not make any charges for application form, as it was not required. I was allowed to pay the amount in four installments on yearly basis.
Campus Life
We were offered various cultural activities and also had cultural clubs through which we could take part in various activities, Sports is an essential part of our life and in our campus we are encouraged to participate and enjoy each activity.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, hostel is available and is well furnished with gymnasium and many recreational activities.Most of the students from different states make their stay at the hostel. Fooding facility is as well provided .
Admission
I was granted admission on the basis of my marks obtained in IMU CET. I took the entrance exam in the month of January.The paper had six sections generally checking the aptitude, english skills and general knowledge.After the proclamation of the marksheet i had to fill the online application form in the college's website.
Faculty
We have faculties along with instructors who helps make our lessons easier and short. We also have visiting faculties who are highly qualified and holds a Chief engineering post.They help us to upgrade our knowledge and skills in our field.
