The Best in the city

I got admission here on basis of my GATE score. I scored 33 marks in GATE and I got a chance to get geotechnical CIVIL Engineering in this college. I chose this course as I have a deep interest in this field and also I have a keen interest in teaching.

Yes. It provides an stipend of 13K and sometimes it is transacted late but thats alright. We manage it as far as the companies are concerned, companies like L&T, KEC internationals come for internship.

Placement is pretty good for civil here as compared to other NITs because the level of education I think is bit higher in this college. There are a lot of people who underestimate this college being situated in a poor state but thats not true, its a very rapid growing area now and placements are reallly good.

Corona and Melange are the technical and cultural fest organised by this college. And no doubt this is the biggest party in the town. There is a lot of fun, lot of events and lot of excitement here. Lot ideas come to light, new talents come outshining.

Fee structure from last year has increased to 44k, other wise it was 26K earlier. The new rules by MHRD has been the reason to this problem but thats fine, because there are a lot of colleges who charge more than lakhs per semester.

I dont have the knowledge of any such programmes. But sure there are some of these scholarships that work in here. In fact I have many a friends who use these scholarships every year and thats really helpful and the best thing is , its timely.

Gender ratio, this year is pretty nice. I have 40:60 ratio of girls to boys in my class and the same applies in college also. There are well established labs of each and every department but thery dont function well. We have the sports gymnasium also we have playground and basket ball court also. We organise workshops for autocad, robotics, c++ and a lot.

They are really cool. I have seen that the alumni meet has its own importance and the amount of honour they get and give is really remerkable. Almost everyone is in touch with the alumni as they come very frequently to visit, either as a visitor or as a recruiter. so overall its very friendly kind of environment.
