MASTER OF DENTAL SURGERY [MDS]

The university is a good place to learn and get a decent job concerning the course selected. The academic environment is quite good at the university and the university offers facilities like library and WiFi facilities.

The course curriculum was based on several subjects like conservative dentistry, oral medicine and radiology, and oral surgery. However, there were many laboratory sessions combines with practical? and experiments at the university.

There were some excellent job and placements opportunities at some reputed institutes and hospitals with a good annual package. However, the university offered the internships at the university itself for practical experience and training.

There are events like conferences on health awareness and workshops for the students to understand the practical scenario of the curriculum. There were a wonderful seminar and more like a webinar on the Bioethics Unit for all the students at the seminar hall.

The fee structure was somewhat feasible for all the students as a student has to pay 4,50,000 for a three-year master's course. Moreover, there were several options for paying the fees in parts and also semester wise format as per students' convenience.

At the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences - [BFUHS] there were extra curricular activities like webinars and conference for the student's practical knowledge, Apart from this, there were cultural events and awareness programs related to the academic curriculum.

The alumni network at the college was not much good but there was a great connection with the senior's students as there were some labs where we need the help of seniors to understand the practical concept better rather than reading in books.

Once I completed my Bachelor of Dental surgery I got admission in Master of Dental Surgery at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences - [BFUHS]. The admission process was based on the NEET exam and counseling session with all the other required documents.

The faculty at the university had quite a good knowledge and appreciable practical experience. However, some faculties lacked the delivery skills in several complex topics like periodontics and orthodontics in the lectures as well as at the laboratory.
