Entrance Preview

In EMCET exam I scored 3016 rank .I preferred this college bcs there is lot of freedom with full of responsibilities.

Internships Opportunities

I got as a stipend I god. I did inteship with sew constructions. Which is mnc and one of the reputed company.

Placement Experience

I got place ment in two companies. Osmania university college of engineering has good placement cell. And they invite excellent placements.

College Events

Nirmaan which is a techfest which we celebrates like festival of the college. We involves all the students .We invites all the colleges of India wide.

Fees and Financial Aid

As i said it is a Govt college .govt scholarship only available. No other scholarship available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I felt that entire curriculum needs to be changed, since there are many useless subjects that are irrevalant to software engineering in CSE. I also felt subjects like c,c++, java needs to be replaced with python and web development subject should be replaced with something like nextjs. Initially I thought the syllabus and curriculum was good untill 3rd year of my Btech degree. The curriculum of jntuh is outdated in terms of real world. Teaching methods are ok though it needs minor improvements in some areas. The frequency of exams is same, you get semester exams and supply exams , you will have more chances to clear you backlogs, my advice is to clear backlogs in same year or try not getting any backlogs in engineering. timing of exams is usually after every 6 months out of which we usually have 180 or more working classes days. And in between we get sundays, holidays,events and other things. Semester exams are difficult especially subjects like mathematics or electronic subjects like ADE, which is irrelavant to CS.

Right Iam in 7 th semester ending,no company came to our college to recruit us.May be in 8 th sem companies will come.My seniors got in some companies like TCS, Infosys,Capgemini etc..with an average of 3.6 lpa.And all students did not get placed just 10 students in each class got placement.We need more placements to satisfy the students.

Placement Experience:

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. Unveiling Excellence- My Experience at IIT Hyderabad

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements Various companies like Google, Microsoft, Amaazon, Facebook, Uber, Ola, visisted and made around 300 offers in total, The highest package offered was 90LPA to a student from CSE and the avg Package was around 20 LPA Around 50% of the students got the placement this year. My plans after getting this degree would be moving abraod for a Masters Degree.
