Entrance Preview

I had to qualify through GATE.On my 2nd attempt I cleared this exam. The course which I opted for was available at the institution and I wasn't qualified in some other IITs bcoz of higher cutoffs.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculumn is very good and all courses are well structured. All courses are developed keeping in mind the academic progress of the students. Projects at end of semwstres also help a lot.

Internships Opportunities

The stipend for our batch was 8000pm. Thia was later increased to 12400pm.The industrial internship options are also there and there are lot of opportunities for internships.

Placement Experience

Placements are good if you maintain good cgpa. Many companies come for recruiting the students. The work profile is also very good.

College Events

There are lot of events celebrated throughout the year. The main technical feat is ELAN. Other than that lot of events are happening. There are many clubs to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being the government college, the fee structure is feasible. Besides the stipend is sufficient enough to pay for your fees for academic year. Per sem fee was 36000.

Other than standars scholarships I havnt beard of any such schemes. But you can always opt for educational loan.

Campus Life

Being in IIT itself means there will be lot of extra curricular activities going on. Many clubs arrange small quiz for some treats. Technical feativals are also very good.

Alumni/Alumna

There is very strong alumni network. Though its a new institution, many alumnis are working in respectable positions. Many alumns are working in japan and have a alumni club there also.

Faculty

Faculty is very good. All faculties have good knowledge of their respective field. They are very helpful and you can be sure that they will help you in any technical problem or else will guide you to the revelant person.

My Dream College

Placement Experience:

There are many placement oppurtunities like internships and FTEs. The drives for internships will start from the second semester of first year. Students were shortlisted for drives based on the CGPA. Companies like Micron, Qualcomm, Synopsys, Druva visit the campus for hiring. The numbers of offers they provied will not be static. The highest package is about 38 LPA and avg is about 19 LPA. 90-95% students are placed in the previous batches. My plan after getting a degree is join in a corporate to showcase my talent and make contributions to the projects.

A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF IITHYDERABAD

I appiled for vit and emcept but main goal to join iit, no i dint get rejection in any colleges i got admission in every college but i didnt choose because of my dream college. In iits we get very good and merit people and we get more free time and time to study ourself and learn things by ourself. We have a lot fests at least for a month we enjoy a lot and we have a lot of resouces to get knowledge and good faculity. The only one eligiblity for our college is to write jee advancee and mains . First for mains more than 14 lakhs people write and in that 14 lakhs 2to 3 lakh people slected for advance. And 23 k people will select fot advance the cutoff will be like we should get 95% above for mains but we dont know for advance they change for every year.
