Remarks

I thank this college for all the learning opportunities it provided to me. It was an amazing experience studying in this college. I got lots of new things to learn, inspire and innovate. All the teachers and seniors were very cooperative and supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of my college was very well focused and structured. All the students were given proper guidance by the college teachers. The college used to conduct exams twice a year within the college

Placement Experience

The placements in my college were quite good. Companies like tata, Dell, kpmg, pwc, etc., used to visit our college in the last semester and selected the candidates on the basis of interview conducted by the companies

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my college was very good and helpful. The college provided many concessions in fee payments to students belonging to reserved category and with weak economical backgrounds as provided by the government

Campus Life

The college had numerous societies for extracurricular activities and competitions so that students can participate and join and learn extracurricular skills. The college used to organize several events as well

Admission

After completing my graduation degree in B.com, I decided to pursue MBA in post graduation and hence applied in CAT examination. Fortunately I cleared the cutoff set by the college and got shortlisted for admission

The faculty of my college was very good and helpful. All the teachers were very well experienced and educated. The students were given regular assignments and internal assessments so that their understanding level of subjects could be checked and improved

Great experience. Decent internship and placement opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the third semester of their college companies start coming for placement since then and the placement is continued till the end of the last semester top recruiters who visit the college for placement are Asian Paints Nestle ICICI Securities ICICI Prudential Amul Trident etc highest package offered to students is 12 lakh per annum and the average package ranges between 4 lakh to 5 lakh per annum almost 80% of students get good placement opportunities by the campus mostly the companies come for marketing or sales role very few companies come for finance and HR role.

Insider Placements of IIITM Gwalior

my rank in jee mains was 18600 in which i didnt get any good branch (cs it) in good nit or iiit in JOSAA. Then in CSAB 1st round i got iiit jabalpur ece and in 2nd round i got iiitm gwalior it+mba). Well equipped infrastructure and decent placements

The other colleges that I applied to were: IIIT Lucknow in which i was getting B.Tech in computer science and some private colleges. 1. I had applied to XIME Bangalore, Welingkar, and Christ College. I got selected for XIME Bangalore. 2. I choose IIITM Gwalior because it is a central government institute, proximity to my hometown and affordable program fee. 3. I got rejected from Welingkar and Christ due to low CAT score. 4. The admission process for MBA is quite straight forward. IIITM only accepts CAT score. There is no explicit mention of minimum CAT percentile. In under graduation one should have at least 60% with maths/statistics as one of the subjects. After that there will be group discuss round and interview round. The admission is through JEE mains , the previous year cutoff was around 11k for integrated btech + mtech batch . The cutoff is getting improved year by year , in my year it was 14k now it is 11k. The Jee mains score (approx) one would require is 99 percentile at minimum...Read More
