Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum focussed on improving the management skills of the students. The course included several aspects of business ethics and management. The course had more of the practical portion and less of theory. Exams were conducted at regular intervals.

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities provided by our college are quite good. The highest salary package for MBA students was around 15,00,000 per annum and the average salary package was around 6,50,000 per annum. The top recruiters who came to our college were from HCL, Infosys, Paytm, Myntra, Dell, IBM among others.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee charged for the MBA course is quite economical as compared to other institutions. The fee charged for a year was around 68,00,200 rupees which is affordable. The course curriculum, the placement opportunities and the other facilities are worth spending the money.

Campus Life

Our college promotee start up culture. There are 3 units which are being monitored under this programme. There are 36 research and practical labs where practicals for various courses are conducted. There are labs like data communication lab, IOT lab, robotics lab etc. Events like Kronos and Roohani are held.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is provided to students. I had opted for the hostel because the PGs were quite far from the college. Living in the hostel saved my commuting time and expenses. The hostel infrastructure is decent. All the basic amenities like clean rooms, hygienic food, running water and recreational facilities were provided to us.

Admission

Candidates for the MBA course are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT score. After that, the shortlisted candidates are called for group discussion and personal interview rounds. The previous academic qualifications and work experience of the candidates are also given due importance and weightage.

Faculty

The college faculty included esteemed people from the management field. Many of them had several years of work experience. Some of them had a doctoral degree also. They were kind and helpful to us. They clarified our doubts and their style of teaching was unique and interesting.

Great experience. Decent internship and placement opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the third semester of their college companies start coming for placement since then and the placement is continued till the end of the last semester top recruiters who visit the college for placement are Asian Paints Nestle ICICI Securities ICICI Prudential Amul Trident etc highest package offered to students is 12 lakh per annum and the average package ranges between 4 lakh to 5 lakh per annum almost 80% of students get good placement opportunities by the campus mostly the companies come for marketing or sales role very few companies come for finance and HR role.

my rank in jee mains was 18600 in which i didnt get any good branch (cs it) in good nit or iiit in JOSAA. Then in CSAB 1st round i got iiit jabalpur ece and in 2nd round i got iiitm gwalior it+mba). Well equipped infrastructure and decent placements

The other colleges that I applied to were: IIIT Lucknow in which i was getting B.Tech in computer science and some private colleges. 1. I had applied to XIME Bangalore, Welingkar, and Christ College. I got selected for XIME Bangalore. 2. I choose IIITM Gwalior because it is a central government institute, proximity to my hometown and affordable program fee. 3. I got rejected from Welingkar and Christ due to low CAT score. 4. The admission process for MBA is quite straight forward. IIITM only accepts CAT score. There is no explicit mention of minimum CAT percentile. In under graduation one should have at least 60% with maths/statistics as one of the subjects. After that there will be group discuss round and interview round.
