No negative remark for such an excellent college. Everything from the environment to the alumni network, is supportive and pleasing. Seniors are very helpful. Professors guide us all time. I love my college. It is the best.
Course Curriculum Overview
IIT always has its own way of setting up the course curriculum. Syllabus is heavy with an in-depth research oriented module. Semester wise exams and syllabus and books are changed every 6 months. There is also practical works with lab and projects.
Placement Experience
Never fear about placement here. It is assured with 80% students being hired every year. The the placement cell is extremely competitive and you have to prove your abilities and skills to the company. Internships are provided by an outside the college also.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees are high but still affordable than other IIT's. A yearly sum of nearly Rs 2 lakh has to given. This is only tuition fees. Rest lab, project, campus training all have different fees. IIT life is costly I must say.
Campus Life
Our extra curriculum activities are wonderful in our college. Fresher welcome is organized in a large manner. many famous celebrities visit our college. IIT students are free to discuss about politics but no race and religion bias.
Admission
In order to seek a place in this prestigious college, you need to clear JEE Advanced exam. Based on that score you have to sit for counselling and finally get the chance to choose the college. Then your admission can be secured.
Faculty
As an IIT student, I find the faculty extremely helpful and co-operative. They have valuable degrees and are highly qualified. They teach us in a down-to-earth way. Materials and papers are always helpful.
