Course Curriculum Overview

The course is designed keeping in the mind the needs of the students and the industrial requirement. It is a perfect blend of theory as well as practical approach that is required to get into the corporate world.

Placement Experience

There was no placement cell in the college during my time but there was the career counseling cell in our college that guided the students about various career options that we could pursue post our graduation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Like every other Government aided institute, the fee structure is affordable with the fee being only 3.2k per year which I think is so affordable and can be afforded by everyone. The career counseling cell and the other facilities are also great.

Campus Life

My college had computerised library which not very common in government aided colleges and also the college has a large ground for voley ball and other outdoor sports. Many of the students would sit in the ground during winters to absorb sunshine.

Admission

I applied to this college online after filling up the details that they asked and filled the registration fee. The admission is based on the marks obtained in class 12 after which the qualified candidates are called for the documentation process.

The faculty has proven record of academics and the experience. They gave us practice papers and case studies that help get the better hold of the subject. My faculty was really passionate about teaching that that reflected in the way we were taught.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the course is pretty nice with diversified subjects alsong with specialization subjects in the 3rd and 4th semester. Some compulsory subjects include Tagore Studies and Basics of Communication. The course also includes Development Communication, Online media, Journalism, Gender studies, Advanced Audio Visual Production. The department is well equipped a mac lab but it only have 5 macs. The curriculum also includes Design, UIUX, Graphics design etc, and the curriculum is continuously updating with moden media teachings. The curriculum mostly prepare us for Academic Purposes than Industry.
