The professor are very intellectual and intelligent
College has a big math and also has big buildings
The college is located near 2-3 km from the high road

The union of the college is very political and biased
Some of faculty members are really rude behaviour
If you somehow channels the professors ego they will ruin your college life

Like I have told before that I have major subject in physics so for that particular subject our department has only one professor who is some how kind and somehow very arrogant. Like I am my friends are late by 2 days to submit assignment but the professor didn't accept that. Also he hesitate to sign in the practical notebooks

Class Size: 27Course Fees: INR 6660 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year boys fee you have to pay is 6660. The tuition fee question fee races admission fee and development free all are include in this. The fee structure is something that you have to pay 2265 in admission in 1st year and then have to pay 1450 rupees for examination fee and the same carries on 1st year 2nd semester

Campus Life

Our college horse every of festivals and extra curriculum activities like they often host a cricket match like 4 to 5 month ago. In this particular activity were very active. They also done many of social groups clubs and unions that bias political parties.

Admission

So I have pursued science in the 11 12 so I have decided to admit as BSc but the nearest college from my place are not offers any science subjects so I have to choose this college. Also it is the nearest science college from my place.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is kind of average but some of the faculty members are really kind and polite and the others are really root behaviours. Altho they are very helpful but sometimes they treat like you shit

Placement Experience:

College does provide internship opportunities both through the placement cell as well as department faculty. Semester 5 and Semester 7 students are eligible for placements. Average package is about 5.5 lakh per annum for microbiology course. Although placement percentage is on the lower side majority of students go for higher studies. Many prepare for exams like GATE, IIT JAM, etc.

college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

My experience at St. Xavier's

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course theory helps us gain a solid understanding of the subject matter. Film studies and Mass Communication theory classes has laid down the foundation of the subject- from what is a shot and the kinds of shots and angles, to the beginning of radio in India and essays by CS Pierce and John Berger. The course also includes practical classes in the sound labs, editing labs and we will learn to use a camera, as one of the things we will have to do in this course is make films of our own.
