Course Curriculum Overview

The college strictly follows the laws that have been issued by the university. The college have the same subjects that there are in many of the other colleges in our state. The exam structure is also very similar to the other colleges.

Placement Experience

Placement cell of our college have enormous links of the companies that will recruit students of our college with a good package. The college also provides us the links that allows us to do internship in their companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure of our college is simple as the college takes all kind of mediums that is cheque, cash or online transfer. The fees of the course Ba is quite expensive as compared to other colleges which has same course in them.

Campus Life

The college has its own labs where students can freely come at any time to do their pending work or assignment regarding studies. College also have library in it which contains tons of books written by some recognised writers.

Hostel Facilities

The college hostel is not that far. The distance from hostel to college is 15 to 20 minutes by bus or other vehicles. The hostel is very hygienic in terms of food and also has clean drinking water. The rooms are also big.

Admission

The process of taking admission in the college is very simple. The college gives addmission on the basis of merit that is the score of the candidate on his or her 12 class. The candidate have to fill the college form and has to wait for the merit list.

Faculty

The faculty members of the course Bachelor's in Art's are very friendly and humble in nature. They all treats us that we are their own children and also tells us that what are the things that we are missing in our studies.

Reality of IIT KGP

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.
