i am doing MECHANICAL ENGINEERING in this college and this course is really good , this course can make you designer and the developer of the mechanical items Mechanical engineering subjects include automobile engineering, manufacturing engineering, power plant engineering, thermal engineering, and mechatronics engineering, which is a combination of electrical, computer, and mechanical engineering.

Placement Experience

Very less students are getting placed through campus selections. Main reason for this is lack of understanding about college curriculum by the industry. Curriculum is really good with blend of design, core and management subjects. But there is a gap between industry and academia.

Fee Structure And Facilities

fee structure is feasible as compare to other private university because when this college comes under the government so central government t.The fee varies between students based on their category. the total course fee is between to the 1 lakh to 2 lakh only.

Campus Life

Every year we have a cultural fest called samgatha and a technical fest called vashist. There is separate playground and sports complex for playing games like badminton, table tennis courts etc. Canteen is comparatively good when compared to previous year as the mess contract changed so.

IIITDM Kancheepuram offers admission in online mode through the official website of the conducting bodies of various course-specific entrance exams. Application season of the institute usually commences in February

Faculty

All faculty is Ph.D. holders and Masters in their area. We can't generalize the entire faculty, but few are stubborn and not capable. Overall faculty is very skilled with blend of multiple streams. Teaching quality is good with relation to curriculum.

I would rate the course curriculum a 4.5 out of 5. The college got many new department like cyber security and artificial intelligence and data science as well. The exams are little bit difficult i felt. Teaching method are good and understanding. The frequently and timing for exams is less and more difficult that i felt. Got less time for preparation.

The real IIIT, that is IIITDM Kurnool

I choose IIITDM Karun or NIT and state colleges due to its design focused curriculum modern labs and faculty while initiatives offer better placement IIITDM K provides strong research opportunities I applied to NIT and IIIT but missed top choices due to JE main rank IITDM Kurnool cut off was within range so I joined through JOSAA counselling. Life In IIITDM KURNOOL

I got 97.8 percentile in JEE mains and I am a OC candidate I got seat in IIITDM Kurnool. There are many other colleges but I have choosen this college because it is near to my home state and there will be many people of our same mother tounge and it will be easy to survive over here.
