Remarks

The Institute is very good education wise and transition form schooling to career is well handled the only draw back is increase the gender ratio.

Entrance Preview

A common eligible test conducted by SJCCI opted for this college as learning and completing the course was the students ownership, students were not spoon fed and we had to refer to multiple books related to the topic in class and the library was good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Very relevant, the institution made sure we were involved in external workshop so that we learn our subject from a practical point too we were encouraged to refer books by different authors on the subject to learn their view and recommendations.

Internships Opportunities

During our educational time a lot well known companies updated vacancies in the college premises, the most note worthy part of it was past students who were well places recommended SJCC to their companies for recruitment. The internship for management training that I took up was for a period of 6 months and I was paid a stipend which was in par with the market at that time.

Placement Experience

4.5

Please note the college did not promise assistance with placements, they promised good education however the Institution helped nearly 25% of the students get placements for students who graduated. They assisted 10% or more students to continue further education, by way of counseling awareness of certifications offered by different institutionsthe companies that visited SJCC were - MRF, Prakash Leasing and various private companies.

College Events

4.5

SJCC gave as much encouragement to extracurricular activities as much to education. We participated in cultural events at BIts Bilani, WCC in Chennai to name a few. We organized SPIEL a sports event which will celebrate 25 years in 2016.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I found that this institute focused on education and not money, we had students from all levels of economical background. Scholarship was given for economically backward, outstanding students excelling in sport and books were rented to all with a nominal fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

The institute encouraged learning therefore is not a business but educational institute, fees is very economical, offered scholarship to economical backward students and provided books on hire on a nominal fee for the educational period.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ration is poor, 1:10, 1 being women i never faced or my college mates complain of intolerance in regard to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, political or economic SJCC encouraged extracurricular activities as much to education. It organized outreach programIt conducts internship and foreign educational visits.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The Institute had a hostel for men only, which was run by the SJCC institute, the mess served food on regular times every day, healthy food it cratered to both vegetarians and non vegetarians maintenance was very good very good with adequate water in baths and toilets discipline was very strong here therefore very safe.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is very strong, roots are very strong with SJCC and faculty, the institute is referred to for employment and education, a regular connect is organized.

Exam Structure

SJCC was affiliated to Bangalore University and therefore conducted all the exams scheduled by the university. However SJCC conducted internal learning checks on regular basis in class on a regular basis.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty at SJCC, Bangalore were highly qualified, dedicated and focused on the task in hand the faculty were very approachable, encouraged students to connect with them off class hours and were always available to assist us, they made an effort to provide us with good references with an aim to make us excel in our chosen field.
