Course Curriculum Overview
The MBBS course is a 5.5 year course in reality. You study the courses prescribed for the degree in the first 4.5 years and then move to the internship, to test your practical skills, for which you will obviously be paid.
Placement Experience
Since there is always a dearth of doctors in our country, an MBBS student will get a job. But at Saraswathi Medical College, we are required to work really hard on polishing our practical skills, and this is of great help!
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is far from feasible, but all private medical colleges cost a lot because of the extra equipment. The fees per year is Rs 12.09 lakhs, but the quality of education imparted makes sure you never doubt the tuition fee charged.
Campus Life
We have a plush gym on campus and besides that, there are facilities available for quite a few other indoor and outdoor games like carrom, badminton and cricket. The labs are huge as well, with all state-of-the-art facilities.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is really luxurious! We have large, airy rooms to be shared by 2 people and each has an attached washroom. There is a large common room in each hostel(boys and girls), which can easily fit 150 students!
Admission
Though it is a private college, the admission totally depends upon whatever score you have secured in the national medical entrance test, NEET. On top of that, you have to have secured an aggregate of at least 50% in your 10+2 examinations.
Faculty
They are doctors themselves and the real life experience they have had over years of dealing with patients is a big part of our learning. Whenever a case in the wards are confusing, we always have a teacher by our side to help us out.
