Course Curriculum Overview

4

The Course curriculum of MBBS is quite tough to be honest.A student has to work really hard to get good grades. There are practicals and theoretical examinations both.Obviously being a doctor is not so easy you have to put your 100% to become a good doctor.

Placement Experience

4

Usually the students don't opt for placements, they go for higher/masters in their respective subjects.Although there are placements in the college for corporate hospitals. The college provides internships to the students.1 year internship is compulsory for all the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not quite feasible. Its pretty expensive to be honest. The fees is a lot but it is reasonable as the placements provided by the college is quite good. The ROI(Return on Investment) in this college is good. The total academic fees of MBBS sums up to around INR 45,00,000.

Campus Life

3.5

Events are held every year.Aeonia and INXS are two events which are celebrated every year with a lot of enthusiasm and fun. Also a lot of health programs are conducted by the college. There are workshops and seminars etc . for the students. There are debate clubs, sports clubs etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes there are hostels for both boys and girls. It is good for outstation students as they can stay in the college and don't have to travel much. There are all kind of necessary facilities provided by the hostel to the students.

Admission

Bhaskar Medical College is affiliated with NTR University of Health Sciences. It is approved by the Medical Council of India.Admission in this college is given on the basis of a student's score in NEET UG.Aspirants should have completed the minimum age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS course. The eligibility criteria is:1)10+2 or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent.2)He/She should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCB/Biotech combined.

Faculty

4.5

Majority of the faculty members are highly qualified and highly experienced doctors.Overall the faculty members are great. Most of the faculty members are quite friendly and interactive. The teachers guide the students as much as they can.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My choice is based on my future, since my parents are doctors and we have a hospital, so I came into this course. The curriculum is pretty through, it's got pretty much everything covered. Not much room for improvement I feel like. The exams are not super hard, and the frequency is just right, there is enough time to prepare and enough time between two exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a doctor is a very respectful and responsible profession. One deserves the respect after all the years of hardwork. It's not an easy course, it requires many sacrifices and a lot more hardwork day and night. 5 yrs of undergraduation and another 3 yrs of postgraduation. With another 2 years of super-speciality. That is 10 years of one's life. We are dedicated towards patients care and wellbeing. We have a separate thing called "AETCOM" for us to learn the real world applications and hospital postings to have patient doctor interactions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very vast and has a lot to study. During exams time it's very stressful. Even then I chose those course because I love learning about the human body. The curriculum of MBBS is prepared by the NMC. NMC should take care that the curriculum of MBBS is not changed frequently. Depending upon the length of the academic year in the academic calender released by NMC exams are held by the university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course has around 19 subjects in the curriculum and that's very important to learn these subject to graduate as a professional doctor. The teaching methods that they choose are so apt to make the concepts clear to the students. 3 internals are conducted for every batch before their University exams(finals). They also conduct weekly exams (FAs) before we write internals. The CBME curriculum helps in emphasising the clinical aspects more which prepares us for the real world applications and further academic pursuits.
