With a well-structured curriculum giving thorough attention to acquiring skills and knowledge all at the same time, I have to admit that the course structure was top-notch. The college offers an undergraduate MBBS degree as well as to postgraduate degrees; clinical and non-clinical. Exams are held annually with regular tests that keep your brain fresh. When all is said and done, you get ample time to spend with your friends or with yourself.

Since it?s a medical college, you do not get placements and job opportunities. But, the college offers internships at the best places for you to hone your skills. Internship opportunities are ample at this college, making sure you find the best-suited one for you. The internships offer a stipend of Rs. 10,000 on an average.

The college life at KMU is not just about academics. With a host of events being celebrated around the year, it includes College Day, Fresher?s party, farewell party, Christmas, and many other festivals and holidays. You are sure to have the time of your life here. The events keep happening once or twice every month to help you relieve the stress of studies from your minds.

The college fees is not quite economical, but it is understandable given its amazing infrastructure and the facilities it provides. The fees for the first year was approximately 5.8 lakh including one time charges and from the second year, it was approximately 5.6 lakhs. This is excluding the hostel charges.

The college has a top-of-the-class infrastructure with well-equipped labs that provide a fully immersive experience to the students. The labs are up-to-date with the latest technological facilities to ensure that the students learn from the best, with the best. The college also pays utmost attention to ensuring that along with being mentally fit, the students and physically fit as well. It has facilities for a multi-purpose wide number of sports including a basketball court, badminton and table tennis courts, and a gymnasium. The students participate in various collegiate tournaments and intra-college competitions that help inculcate the values of team building and others.

I had gotten into the college through my NEET score. The NEET exams are generally held in the month of May with the announcement of results by June. After I got my NEET score, I got this college for counselling and applied for the same. The admission process was fairly easy as after a counselling session, I was asked to submit my fees and got admitted in this college.

One of the things I looked forward to the most while getting admitted to this college was the prospect of being taught by a faculty that is as knowledgeable as it is essential. And I have to say, I was not disappointed at all! The faculty includes some of the best doctors/professors in the country that help you glide through academic years with ease.
