IITRAM - My Past can be Your Future

I got the admission through JEE PRE exam. I got the seat through counseling process. IITRAM was inaugurated by Current PM NARENDRA MODI JI in 2013 but then he was CM of Gujarat. I had knew nothing about the college as it was very first batch of the college. Good points about the college 1. No Ragging campus: a year back few students were restricted because of ragging with junior. A new student should not worry about ragging. 2. Faculties: Senior Professors were very experienced as they had the experience of teaching in well known universities. Assistant professor were also recruited from IITs. 3.Mess: Mess facilities is good, best in the business around ahmedabad. 4. Healthy Environment in hostel as well as College campus. 5. Gym: No charges for gym. Free for all. Bad aspects 1. Hostel is not in college campus. First hostel 1-2 km away from college and other is 9-10km away. It took almost half an hour while reaching to the college. 2. No Playground 3. Less extra curricular activities.

I choose Electrical Engineering because I had interest in Physics from 10th onwards. I already mentioned in above questions that faculties were experienced and students can collect plenty of knowledge from them. Ratio is around 1:15 Most of the facilities had done PhD from recognized university like IITs, NITs and from outside INDIA. There were mainly two exam Mid semester and End Semester, but along with that tests were also conducted by the respective faculties of the subjects. Passing of exams is completely depend upon the students.

I had internship in IFFCO and WTP. Many students did internship in different companies like Torrent Power, L&T and even in IIT Gandhinagar

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. In our batch especially in EE 80% students placed in the different companies like Torrent Power, etc For more details about placement please visit iitram.ac.in Not only my plans but many of us opted for MTech and higher education in different fields like MBA

In my time fee structure was around 1 lakh per annum for college fees, hostel fees and mess were extra. But now fee structure has changed please check the college website Scholarships are provided by govt. , Campus placement held every now and then during 4th year.

Annual fest was conducted only once in 2016. Library is very essential part of the college and college did tremendous job in terms of library setup. classroom were very well furnished and we'll equipped with Projectors. All the basic facilities were provided like bed, mattress, pillow, cupboard, table and chair. Meal quality is good. 4 meals were provided per day. Every type of food will be provided. Menu changes monthly so that students don't get bored. Registration is easy and fast. Process is done during admission. We can also rent a room in locality near by college.
