Underrated Gem IITRAM

Likes

I really like the faculty of my clg. Because they are very helpful
I like the campus life because in campus always their are interesting activities to do you are never bored.

Dislikes

I don't like much the food of mess . Mess is compulsory if you stay in hostel.
I don't like infrastructure of clg because our college has 12 floors but top 6 floors are under construction

Placement Experience:

From fourth year you will be eligible for placements. Adani and tcs are top recruiters they offered around 5 to 7 students. Highest package is around 11 to 12 lakhs and average is around 6 to 7 lkhs per annum . Around 60 to 70 percent students are placed in clg . My plans after graduation for doing masters.

IITRAM (Civil engineer)

Likes

The academic is very good and labs are excellent
Their will be also extra curricular activities.

Dislikes

The campus area is very bad not so much amout of area present
Their will be 75% criteria in some classes

Placement Experience:

In our college the placement is not so good i can rate 5 out of 10. The maximum package from my batch is around 7 lakh in civil engineering and average package is 4.5 lakhs. I am preparing for government exams.

An Honest Review of IITRAM, Ahmedabad

Likes

The college professors are highly educated, all of them are PhD holders. They have great research experience.
The infrastructure of college is quite good. It is an 11- storey building with ac classrooms, tutorial classes. halls, labs.

Dislikes

There is no campus . The college is built in just 5 acres, So there is no ground for recreation activities.
There is no permanent hostel till date. However, 14- storey boys hostel, 7 storey girls hostel and a big faculty building is under construction.

Placement Experience:

As of last year, most of the students who applied for campus placement got placed but with an average ctc of rs 5 lakh/annum. The companies visited include Adani Port, Adani gas, Torrent Power, and other companies. The highest package was rs 15 lakh. Generally, most students from here prepare for entrances like a gate, toefl, cat, etc for admission in masters.

Course and Curriculum, Liberty to opt for interdisciplinary minors and honours courses and, Research facilities.

Dislikes

Campus Life may be improved and more cultural events may be planned to enhance the social environment.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are fairly well, the average package is around 4.5 lac per annum. Companies that visit are mainly from core sector however after upcoming of CSE it may be possible that more IT companies may also visit. Some of the companies that visited this year are Micron, Adani, Torrent Power, MKC and RKC constructions, Ultratech.

Placement Experience:

Placement over here in IITRAM are decent with having Solutions'Group, Torrent Power, Torrent gas, INOX Wind, Deepak Group, Newen Solutions, Adani Group, Micron Technologies on board, a average student can easily secure a 5-6 lpa job over here in IITRAM.

Journey to The Insights of IITRAM

Likes

The academics of IITRAM is the best. The Research oppurtunities was also the best.
Working of Clubs and the events oragnised

Dislikes

IITRAM only has a Vegetarian mess and Does't serves Non-Vegeterain food.

Placement Experience:

Students are enrolled to the placments committee from 2nd year itself, wherein there are forwarded for internships till end of 3rs year i.e. YOu get two summers for your internships. With this, Students are Considered for the placmeent from 7th Semester. The best part is Career Development Committee helps you for 1 year after graduation with oppurtunities and a self sustainable group is being created wherein the senios helps there juniors getting placed.

A Glimpse of IITRAM college

Likes

This college provides very good faulties of Electrical, Computer, Civil and Mechanical Departement all are well experienced and all have completed their PhD or Masters from well reputed colleges around the world such as IITs and NITs
Although this college has a small campus since it is located in the residential area but that doesn't limit the amount of opportunities for placements and research facilities provided here

Dislikes

This college has a very small campus area of around 7 acres also due to the same reasons the fests and parties and events at large scale can't be conducted in this campus since the locals living nearby gets disturbed
This college should have its own curriculum rather than just blindly copying the curriculum of other top colleges since the students studying their and in this college have completely different potential and mindset

Placement Experience:

As a computer engineering branch student I can't comment of computer engineering branch placement as it is a new branch and first batch will pass in 2026. As far as the placement of other branches are concerned the college provides very good opportunities for BTech, MTech and PhD students. The highest has went to 15 Lpa and average being around 2.5 to 3 Lpa. Also the number of students placed in core branches are pretty good compared to other colleges

Likes

The college faculty is the plus point point of the college. They are well educated and experts in their respective fields. They are approachable to the students and solves the students' doubt whenever needed.
The labs are well equipped. The college focuses more on the practical knowledge.

Dislikes

The location of the college is not good.
The hostel is not in the campus. It is outside of the college.

Placement Experience:

The average college placement is around 4-5 lakh per annum. Companies like TCS, Suzuki, torrent power etc. offers placement in the college. The college has a Career Development Club which works on the overall growth of a student to help them improve their skills.

My Honesty

Likes

I liked the seniors and the help I get from my faculties.
The coursw curriculum and laborateries are top notch.

Dislikes

There is minimum campus life in this college.
Unavailability of the sports grounds in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as 8.7/10 as the pathway given by faculties, class content and notes, and the strategies provided by our teachers are top notch. All the laborateries of the respective branches prepare us for the real world in all aspects.

I liked the activities that are conducted. Like various games, sports, quizzes etc.
