I choose this collage because my father don't wantthat i will do admission in government college abd other colleges are lower rating then out college. Main thing our college is known for study and labs

IITRAM means fun with studies!!

Likes

Firstly the location as it is in the centre of the city.
Metro station is also nearby and it is connected to different parts of the city too.
Our course doesn't just make us competent but makes us enough knowledgeable to even pursue a start-up after studies.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is somewhat not that competent as peers.

PDEU and Nirma University were the other two colleges where I applied for and I was available for admissions there as well. I once thought for either of them but I feel took the best decision by taking some time and taking admission here as my cut-off was best suited for IITRAM then the other two.

IITRAM is as good as IITs

Likes

Starting with th first it has to be the faculties of our college as nothing comes close to them.
Secondly even though not fully ready but our infrastructure is still amazing.
Lastly it's the Placements as even though ours is a new institute but still offer placements better than he knew that are existing since ages.

Dislikes

Hostels are off campus and it's around 10 mins walk from the campus.

I applied for JEE mains as IITs were the first choice but having lost out on just a few numbers otherwise I was getting other branches in the IITs. I though wanted to pursue Computer Engineering and therefore I chose the one which is just a shade below them.

IITRAM from my eyes!!

We have n number of fests, n number of programs and events and that makes our campus life rol exciting.
Even when the city experiences electricity and water crisis during summers our college has never faced any such thing.
From staff tk students all are a part of placement cells and they work wholeheartedly to make sure the college achieves 100% placements.

Dislikes

Campus unlike it's peers like NIRMA, LD and PDEU is quite small.

Admission:

JEE Maine percentile of 98 or more is required as otherwise admissions here are impossible. State entrance scores are also accepted but only the top 1000 of rankers get admission here. Admission are online and offline both it's upto you how you want to apply.

IITRAM is for the Intelligent Ones!!

Likes

Not just the private companies but for Placements the college has made tie-ups with a lot of government bodies as well.
Overall infrastructure wise it is best in Gujarat as even PDEU doesn't have infrastructure like us.
Even for projects that are given to us the college has collaboration with industries and our projects are checked by industry experts.

Dislikes

Faculties still follow a conventional method of teaching and are strict too.

Admission:

I applied at PDEU and IIT Roorkee. I missed IIT Roorkee but at PDEU Gandhinagar my admission were confirmed. However among IITRAM and PDEU, IITRAM is much ahead and therefore it was like taking admission here without giving it a second thought. GSET and JEE mains one of these two scores works here but one has to be among the top to get admission here.

The college has really good infrastructure
The college provide well equipped labs for better understanding in the course
The college faculties are approachable, they help us clear our doubts and help us grow.

Dislikes

There is only 1 cafeteria in the college if you want to eat something different, you have to step out of campus.

Admission:

i chose this college because this college has damn good reputation in the research market and it also has a good name in M.tech and Ph.D. market as well, the college provide technically sound teaching materials and also provide centre of excellence labs for students to perform better.

I really like the faculty of my clg. Because they are very helpful
I like the campus life because in campus always their are interesting activities to do you are never bored.

Dislikes

I don't like much the food of mess . Mess is compulsory if you stay in hostel.
I don't like infrastructure of clg because our college has 12 floors but top 6 floors are under construction

Admission:

I choose this college because I wanted to stay in Ahmedabad among all the college's where I am eligible for admission this is the best college . I take admission here through acpc. I wanted to take admission in nirma and pdeu but there I m not eligible based on my percentage.

Their will be also extra curricular activities.
You have a option to involved so many games

The campus area is very bad not so much amout of area present
Their will be 75% criteria in some classes
Their will be a lack of hostel so your hostel life ia not going so good

Admission:

You have to crack jee and if you are from gujrat then you can also take this college by giving acpc. I am from other state that's why I give jee and my jee percentile is not enough that's why I take this college

An Honest Review of IITRAM, Ahmedabad

Likes

The college professors are highly educated, all of them are PhD holders. They have great research experience.
The infrastructure of college is quite good. It is an 11- storey building with ac classrooms, tutorial classes. halls, labs.

Dislikes

There is no campus . The college is built in just 5 acres, So there is no ground for recreation activities.
There is no permanent hostel till date. However, 14- storey boys hostel, 7 storey girls hostel and a big faculty building is under construction.
There is no fests, culture or activities, sometimes, you will feel you are in school.

Admission:

The admission is done via ACPC and jee mains exam. For 50% of seats, ACPC counseling is done for Gujrati aspirants. For the rest seats, Joosa and csab counseling are used. Reservation is based on caste and domicile. Exams are of the same difficulty levels as taught in classes.

Course and Curriculum, Liberty to opt for interdisciplinary minors and honours courses and, Research facilities.

Dislikes

Campus Life may be improved and more cultural events may be planned to enhance the social environment.

Admission:

The admission process is smooth and all the are taken through JOSSA counselling. 50% of intakes are taken through ACPC (common entrance exam for Gujarat) and rest 50% is done through (JEE Mains Examination). All the application process is done through JOSSA counselling system.
