Remarks

The admission process was overall good. After the result of the cap round, I have visited college along with all the documents. The admission process took around 2 hours of aprrox.

Course Curriculum Overview

The overall curriculum is good (But can be better). The college has highly educated(M.tech. or P.hd.) and experienced faculty members. They guide you very well throughout your course. They come up with new techniques to enhance teaching activity and to make it easy to understand for students. For a batch of 20 students, there is one mentor who coordinates with students regarding all activity throughout the semester.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College offers various internships in foreign countries also. The college has 4 track options in your last year- 1.Capstone Project- Regular classes(5 subjects) along with the project 2. Internship and project- 20-22 weeks internship in the industry along with industry base project. 3. Internship development- The establishment of your business will be your project and 2-3 subjects of the same. 4. Undergraduate research- You will do research on any topic as per your interest

Placement Experience

3.5

The student is eligible for placement from the 7th semester (Final year). For circuit branches overall placement is good. But for core branches (Mech Civil) you should have multidisciplinary skills to get placed. The average package is around 3 Lakhs for core branches.

Fees and Financial Aid

For general category students fee is around 1.2 Lakhs. For other categories, the college has EWS and many other government scholarship facilities. Also for girl students, there are special schemes

Campus Life

Overall campus is fabulous especially the central library. In the central library, you can find the answer to all your questions(Genuine questions). Every year 'Virangula' is annually celebrated in the month of February. Every department organizes its Technical and Nontechnical events.

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. I'm planning for higher degree (mtech)

currently nowdays placements are not so staisfactory due to United states tarriff and recession before that students placed upto 52lpa placemant offcampus and avg 11lpa for cs/it and in mechanical field top package is 12 lpa and average 5 lpa

I would rate the course curriculum high in terms of relevance and moderately high in terms of comprehensive. The topics covered are well aligned with current industry trends and technological advancements, especially in areas like 3d printing, data analysis. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

honest review focusing around accommodations, reality, college life, placements

Placement Experience:

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

Placement Experience:

From semester 6 students can sit for internship drives in college. Companies like BMC, Rapid7, TCS, Capgemini, Accenture ,Barclays visit our college, mostly the hire for SDE role and give traning to selected students. Highest package is 61 LPA and average is 7-8 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed vary each year. I am planning to sit for placement.
