Remarks

The main reason I chose the main university is due to the availability of different course and forensic science was only available in Kerala Jain university Kochi. No other college offers this course. It is a variety and interesting course and our college offers almost all the facilities and lab requirements. One of the best things is our beloved faculties. They are very friendly, supportive, and always helpful. The total ambiance of college is also good.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I mainly chose this course because it's rare and interesting which is not opted by a large number of students and it's having lots of scopes. There is a total of 180 students divided into 3 batches for forensic science and 60 students in each class. The all the faculties are well qualified and most of the teachers are PhD certified. There are very friendly and helpful. It is one of the biggest advantages of our college. Exams are conducted semester Visa that is, at the end of each semester. There will be both practical as well as theoretical examination. If we take our study seriously we can easily qualify in our exams. Exams are conducted very systematically.

Placement Experience

5

Yes, our college offers placement. In forensic science mainly for postgraduate students in cybersecurity sectors. Those students with high marks will be actually placed in top companies. Many companies offer placement for cybersecurity areas.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is approximately 1 lakh sixty thousand per year. There are no extra fees for books or a library. All other fees like hostel fee bus fees etc are separate. The campus also offers placement for students in specific companies. I exactly don't about it. For pg students placement is given for sure.

Campus Life

5

Life on this campus was good and interesting. Our whole campus and classrooms are AC centralized and having a standard outlook. But there is no ground for sports as it is a new college so our sports activities were conducted on different grounds. But it was good. Exhibitions are also conducted like Forensic science exhibitions, science exhibitions, etc were we can take part.

Interview Experience

5

For the admission criteria, we need to qualify for an entrance test conducted by Jain University. It is the first step. After that, there is a group discussion as well as an individual interview to qualify for the admission process. For the entrance, it was quite easy as it was based on our higher secondary knowledge type questions.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Sacred Heart College are quite promising and focus on equipping the student with the skill set for employment. Normally, a candidate may get eligible for campus placement after fifth semester , course-wise. Several reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment, such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, etc.and offer roles in data analyst, software developer, marketing associate, etc.The highest package in recent years has been around ?10 LPA, while the average package ranges between ?3-5 LPA, depending on the company and job profile. About 80% of the students get campus placements, and others go for higher studies or start entrepreneurship. In case campus placement is not available for specific programs, the college facilitates career counseling and internships and provides skill development programs to improve employability. After my graduation, I would like to go for higher studies, a specific industry, business, etc. using the knowledge and experience acquired at Sacred Heart College.

I chose this coarse because i love geography. But it was not as same as i learnt in my higher secondary. But it also includes the continuation of +2 geography. The curriculum enables us for real world applications like Calculating time of different areas and the intensity of wind and weather symbols and also make us capable to identify types of rock. Actyally teaching method should be improved. Many interesting topics are turning into boring ones. They are conducting exams regularly to modify oru knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose geography for my graduation because of it was a rare course and only provided by three govt college in Calicut University. It is a good course and it's sub disciplines are very nice to connect with others. Frequency of exams are based on the time duration of finishing the semesters. Usually it's two sem exams in a year and with some other reasons it may get delayed. In course of three years all 6 semesters and it's exams along with project and practical will be finished. Field trip is the main attraction of the course.
