Remarks

It was a very confusing stage seeking colleges nearby and was very much troubled went on peeking reviews from different sites . When i got know about Thoothukudi medical college the academic excellence and the cultural activities made me interested in being a part of that college. Each and every dept. Is perfect and is motivating ones I feel proud to be a part of it. The admission was held on 1st round-1st week of July 2nd round-last week of July tmctkd.ac.in is the website i preferred. The college with a perfect motto " born to serve " made an huge inspiration . The college provides equal importance for both cultural as well as practical part. Saying about the hospital a huge one with many patients helps in gaining much experience . Happy to be a part of it and really looking forward in my academic performances . Wishing u guys all the best in future Be a good doctor patients life are important for us. Let us hope for a great future?

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Saying about the course it is known to be an noble profession And i was actually admired by many great personalities and looking into the current situation of most of the state and our country India i feel very sad and now the only fighters against this are the doctors. I feel very proud to be part of it The faculties in this college are just awesome i would say They are very mu h dedicated to us . There are 5 to 6 members in each dept . So is very is to handle It consists os HOD,Professors, trainees But are very well qualified The teaching method is using ppt and including more practicals which is very much useful. The internal exams are conducted monthly on each subjects so it is made very easy to pass subjects without failure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very extensive and there are 18 subjects to study split over a period of 5 years which includes internship also. Though the curriculum is vast it is a scared job that has motivated me to choose this course. The curriculum and teaching methods help us in treating patients and improving our academics. Improvements that can be made includes improving the patient exposure and communication skills with practical expertise. The exams are conducted yearly once, with the paper being moderate to difficult. There should be more clinical orientation to improve clinical skills rather than only studying books and improving knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally like science so i took up this course. The college prepares you very well for the real world. By the end of the 5years you would become a full fledged doctor. The current teaching methods are fine but more of mcqs should be concentrated rather than theory writing. According to me the internals are fine but the university exams are very difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Competency Based Medical Education (CBME) is pretty relevant to today's needs of a doctor, with more competency based skill learning and regular assessment of students, along with subjects like attitude, ethics and communication skills, pandemic modules etc. The only disadvantage is it still has a few redundant systems such as record maintenance etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a doctor, I can help people a lot. There is a lot to study and knowing the human body, to cure disease, and much more is a great experience. The curriculum prepares me to do great in my future endeavors. The thing I think they lack is a bit more clinical exposure for all students separately. Teaching methods are all good. They conduct exams after each important section, they teach. Around 6-7, internal exams are kept.
