Remarks

I selected this college because it is the 3rd ranked college among all the IHMs. This is one of the best colleges. It has a small campus but once you enter it and get used to it, it is going to appear very appealing to you and you are sure to get addicted to it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum as it appears that it is very easy, it is not so. Curriculum is a bit lengthy but easy to understand. Faculties are very good and friendly.

Course Fees: INR 128000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship is being provided by the college itself. All the big and 5 star properties come one by one and select the candidates according to their standard of operation and number of interns required.

Placement Experience

Placements are provided from the college itself and a good amount of jobs have been given to deserving candidates every year.

Campus placement is good if we see in an average. And scholarship schemes are available in the college.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is good with two blocks of building, the annex building and the main building. Sports are available you can play cricket, basketball, table tennis, football. Books are easily available from the library. One can easily find enjoyment inside the campus, this also depends on the view of the person, whether he takes it in enjoying and positive way or in a dull or negative way.

Placement Experience:

Most of students get more than 2 placements. They placement is over in 1 Month and now a lot of students are being placed in Europe, USA, Mauritius with a very good package. They are also placing students in Retails, FMCG, Entertainment and other areas. But i think the fee that we pay, we can get back only in third year when students can go for Internship, as they can earn more than 6-7 Lakhs and palcements is just too good.

NSHM Hotel and Tourism Management, Durgapur - A Place to Study

Placement Experience:

Students are given placements before the final year. A lot of companies come with Oberoi, Taj, Marriott and others. International Placements is done through companies who conduct online interviews, but i dont know what paramters they ask in interview. But placements is 100%. Placements in India is around 4LPA while International it is more than 12-15 LPA

After giving NCHMCT JEE 2024 i lost hope that I cannot clear the exam and applied to IIHM and gave PI there. I was selected in IIHM and when NCHM results were declared i cleared that too surprisingly with an AIR 500. Then there were many process. IHM Kolkata an experience

In order to take admission in any IHM we need to give JEE exam for Hotel Managment and depending on your rank they allow you to choose the college of your liking. E.g My All india rank was 803 which allowed me to choose from top seven colloges of IHM. I opted for Kolkata as it was close to my hometown.
