Remarks
ITS is such an amazing place to be. It has excellent infrastructure with 100% placement assurance to students. The teachers here are very supportive. Aspirants can get their postgraduate study with a blend of traditional education and modern management concepts. No doubt the whole campus makes for a great learning environment. One must have a visit here if looking for brilliant future.
Course Curriculum Overview
I must say that the teachers are experts in their areas and are extremely helpful and approachable at all times. All of them are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and undergoes periodic revisions to keep up with the dynamic environment. First year is common for all and from the second year i.e. 3rd semester, students opt for their specialization (one major subject and one minor subject). They can choose from a wide variety of options like Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, International Business, Operations Management, Information Technology. Regular tests, assignments, case studies, presentations, quizzes along with innumerable industrial visits help students become corporate ready, while inculcating in them a social outlook and a sense of empathy.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college provides fantastic learning exposure to students in the form of internship opportunities in reputed organizations. Even during these unprecedented times when my friends at other colleges still struggle to find an internship, ITS has provided 100% virtual internships to all students. I have just completed my two months Summer Internship in the HR profile at Spark Minda and I must say that it has been a wonderful experience for me. I have worked on two projects- Employee engagement and Peer Set Analysis. I studied and gathered information on Engagement surveys from numerous resources and drafted questionnaire. My key tasks included brainstorming team building activities for employees, conducting interactive webinar sessions with distinguished experts like doctors, trainers, etc. and employee feedback mechanism. Moreover, I am extremely thankful to my college mentor, Pandey Sir who guided me throughout my journey in overcoming the challenges of a virtual internship.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for placements from the third semester. Also, outperforming students in summer internships get Pre Placement Offers (PPOs) from companies. The placement cell is very good. Many reputed companies including KPMG, Deloitte, Yes Bank, Tata, Jio, Amazon and various others visit the campus every year for campus placements. Top segments based on the roles offered were Finance, Operations/IT, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources. So many alumni from our college are working abroad for leading MNCs. I haven't reached my final year yet but according to my seniors, college offers good placement opportunities, you just need to have the requisite skills to crack the GD-PI round. There are some companies that require you to pass the aptitude test. The highest package in HR profile this time was 8,00,000 P.A.
Fees and Financial Aid
The entire MBA fees structure is around Rs. 3,20,000. And yes, the college offers numerous scholarship opportunities for meritorious students along with financial aid covering educational expenses like tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, work study, loans etc.
Campus Life
When it comes to campus life, I must say that ITS is one college that provides excellent opportunity for students' holistic development. It conducts its annual fest wherein big celebrities like Arman Malik, Sonu Nigam, etc are invited. Furthermore, there are several clubs where students get a chance to showcase their talent and develop organizational skills. Talking about infrastructure, there is 24*7 access to computer labs and library. All classrooms are air-conditioned, have projectors, comfortable seating and access to the internet. The library houses a repository of rich resources and access to many academic journals and magazines of international repute. The sports facilities are good, with football grounds, indoor badminton court and table tennis tables. The medical facilities for students are also satisfactory. It has a canteen that serves food of great quality, and tries to cater to the geographic diversity, by providing students with options across different cuisines.
Interview Experience
As far as the admission process is concerned, the college has set criteria specifying the key parameters that a candidate needs to fulfill for getting admission. The college considers the CAT, MAT, XAT scores for shortlisting the candidates along with admission of those appearing in UPSEE Exam. I had to face an interview in which questions based on current affairs, reasoning and aptitude were asked. As I have a habit of reading newspaper and I also possess good interpersonal skills, cracking the PI round was not a difficult task for me. Moreover, I practiced questions from Bank PO books and other competitive exam papers that helped me strengthen my reasoning and critical thinking ability. I
