Likes
- Students are normally sincere and respectful, few comes from toxic backgrounds and do fights but majority of students are really well behaved.
- The teacher are friendly and approachable, you get your own mentor in first year who guides and assists u with any needs needed.
- There are clubs like library club and maths club.. the club events goes on monthly and college gives participation certificates and trophies.. club culture and events are really good and happening.
Dislikes
- The uniform. The uniform code is really bad and the colour gives off govt school vibes..no one seems to like dress of ITS college. Tho Friday and Saturday are no uniform days.
- The batch started late and in 4 months we were into 2 internals and 1 external exam.
- The college area. Its industrial area with nothing nearby but fast food stalls and few dhabas. The roads are patchy and its dust everywhere as the area is industrial.
Course Curriculum Overview
BCA is really relevant for todays technology upgradations going on in world. I was into tech and coding so i opted BCA and since college is accessible by metro and have good name so i took admission in it and i regret not. Curriculum is up to date and changes yearly as required in recent technology and ties up with trends. There is no space for improvement as of now. Exams happen frequently like class test ans assignments and they make u study from scratch so there is no difficulty its moderate.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total yearly fees for my batch 2025-28 is 1,75,000 for BCA 1st year and they give off and reduce fees if you have good percentages i.e. above 80% in your 12th class boards. There is no others charges they ask apart from Registration charges of aprox 3,000 to 5,000? , they give off if u have financial issues like single mother and reduce fees by 20,000 and laptops are free. Few of my batchmates paid 1,60,000 instead of 1,75,000 due to good marks or financial conditions.
Campus Life
Campus life is really good, i made a lot of friends and we sit in campus and roam in campus have fast food from canteen and there is every variety of food available inside with affordable prices. In fest NAVYATANG happens in April. Technician and management fest happens. They did cultural fest too like MATA KI CHOWKI. Library have every type of books realted to BCA BBA courses. There are 2 different library one for bachelor and another for masters and PHD with Digital library included with every book available of couse of every different author and year. Sports activities are happening and we can access sports complex after 2 PM and play caroom, chess, Table tennis, badminton and access GYM which is generally for Hostel students tho
Admission
I only applied in ITS college Because its nearby my house with direct red line metro and also our relatives suggested this college because he studied nearby gaziyabad and told ITS is the best there for BCA course.. i did have CUET tho but didnt applied in any DU college afterwards because i wanted to do BCA only instead of BSc
Faculty
There are 2-3 teachers for every 1 subject. Faculty is really disciplined and friendly, they dont hold grudges against any student and do jokes to light class mood. Really like English and maths faculty for BCA 1st yeat as they r easy going and takes jokes lightly and do so and teaches properly and again if doubts. Really hated ESS/EVS faculty as he hold grudges doesnt understand kids jokes and become very sctrict. In every semester there are 2 internals exams with 75% attadance needed to sit in . And 1 external for every end sem. There are 3 semsters in total. And there is No negative marking
Night Life
They are no hangout spots near campus its a big industrial area. There is no night life and no hangout spots near college apart from one mall which is okayish. After classes students roam and sit in college ground and cafeteria only as there is nothing nearby. Gym is available for hostel students. Cafeteria in college is there but food is normal tasting not anything great. No famous hangout places but mall near mohan nagar metro.
