Remarks

The main reason is that the course I want to study was only available in few colleges and this college was more near to me. It is also an aided college and fees is less compared to other self financing colleges with the course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is not much difficult. An average student can quite easily pass with good results. Moreover this field offers more job opportunities. That's the reason why I chose this course.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

For the completion of this course we have to do Industrial trainings and project, but the college doesn't offer any internship opportunities. The students have to find them on their own. They have to find industries for trainings.

Placement Experience

0.5

There is no campus placement in the college. No such activities happened there. Other colleges offer such placement programs. Employability depends on each individuals hard-work. They have to get into the outside world and seek for new job opportunities. Mostly the job opportunities are in the private sector for this course. Even though public sector also offers jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is very less. Because it is an aided college. Other colleges with this course are self financing. So they charge a high fees about 20,000 per semester. Scholarships are available for various categories.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is colourful with friends and all. But the activities in the college are quite short. Not much programs compared to other colleges. Infrastructure vise library, lab etc are okay. Lab is average. Different clubs are there which are little bit active.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.Sc Nutrition and Dietetics curriculum at St.Teresa's College is comprehensive, focusing on practical applications and advanced topics . However more hands on experience and updated teaching methods could enhance learning. Exam frequency is reasonable, but some could be more challenging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Biotechnology is a booming industry in the world. I had selected this course hoping to achieve a successful career here in India. Little did I know that biotechnology had not picked up its pace yet in India. The exams conducted was frequently with 1 or 2 model exams in each semester for theoretical and practical. This helped us to have enough basic knowledge when we finally pass out. It would be better if more internships and industrial visits are included in the syllabus. It would give a better idea about our future. It will also help us to boost our resume. The jobs in biotechnology offers low salary here but large varities of experience can be gained. This helps us to have a better career outside of India.

Good remarks are our laboratory and library. These facility help us a lot for our study. The one thing and feel bad is our canteen. Our canteen needs more development. It require some more space and some standard foods. What we have now is average, we need a good canteen. All other facilities in our college are good according to me.

St. Berchmans is definitely one of the top rated arts and degree college existing in Kerala. There are various opportunities for students in improve at various fronts. But at the same time, the college doesn't provide much actual support for the students for their after college life. This poses as a great difficulty and confusion for students completing their UG or PG from this place.
