Remarks

I'll get world class institute, great exposure. I was admitted here last year around July and my session was started in August. Admission was done online and finally reporting was done at last. I'll get great teachers, great knowledge and great job too. Jossa was the one to conduct counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'd a keen interest in Computer Science. Faculty are one of the best in today's world. Relatively females are less as we thought initially. The fave are qualified from foreign Institutes, university as well as from IITs. We had total to 8 semesters for BTech. It was relatively good for us and we enjoyed learning.

Placement Experience

4.5

From 5th or 6th semester we're generally eligible for placements. Companies visited were like Google, Apollo, Tata, Microsoft, Hp, Dell, Oracle and many more. Around every students are placed if they perform well in their academics. Around 90% students are placed in good companies. I would not take the placement instead I'll start my own startup. I want to be independent.

Fees and Financial Aid

Totally amount that might have been used was around 1 lakhs per annum. Scholarship are the best part when we talk about IITs. I'd got scholarship based on my rank in JEE.

Campus Life

It is generally conducted in February, March, April. We'd a great campus in accordance with area and outlook. We've a great library which contained around 5 lakhs books of every field. We have annual sports generally, we call it genral championship or GC. We've cricket, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, Tennis, carom, athletics, Weight lifting and many more. I was the part of acting and film making group and was also minor in sports and fitness group.

Hostel Facilities

There was fan, bed, study table, chair and a small window. I used to have my food in the mess. The food used to be satisfactory. Menu was good. We'd non-veg only on Monday and Friday. Registration was done hand to hand and hostel fees are quite satisfactory to afford. I'm now in hostel 2

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Interview Experience

I'd given JEE for getting into IIT. It consists of two rounds : JEE Mains, and JEE Advanced. If we clear both the exams we're eligible to take part in IITs but if we score good we'll get good ranking college according of NIRF. We've cutoff for exams and we're subjected to clear it to get into IITs. I'd prepared for get by getting enrolled in coaching fir JEE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become software engineer so that is why i choose B.Tech cse course. And the curriculum is good fit for real world application or further academic pursuits. They majorly focus on practical either than theory knowledge nearly exam occur in every 1 to 2 months and paper difficulty level is average not as much hard and not easy

A good choice for quality education and career growth

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th and 7th semsester the college has a dedicated placement cell that organise training sessions resume building workshops mock interviews and aptitude class to prepare students for placement Many companies visit the campus every year , including IT and sevice based comapnies . The most common roles offered are software developer technical support, data analytical and trainee enginer. The avaerage package can go upto 7 lakh while the highest package can go upto 52 lakhs . Around 70-80% of students get placed through campus drives while other opt for higher studies , internships or off campus job . The placement process is smooth and well organised bh the college. After completing my degree , i plan to either secure a good job through campus placement or improve my skills for better off campus placement.

KMCLU Lucknow : Experience of Campus and Academics

Placement Experience:

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for placements some of the companies which visit are amazon, atlassian, google,etc. According to me the highest package is 53 lpa and the average package is 5 lpa. If you had a great skilled then you can get the placement. I don't know the percentage of student getting placements.

IITK From Sparsh's Perspective

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. Life @ IITK

I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats. Admission process for B.Tech at IITK is through JEE Advanced exam, after qualifying JEE Mains. You also neend to satisfy cutoff for branches. Admissions are handled by JoSAA Counselling....Read More
