Remarks

College experience is overall good and I want to mention the atmosphere of the college is different level . Admission process was very simple as we need to carry described documents with us for verification at the time of admission and simply wait for our turn to get verified .

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I have a mathematics background and because of that understanding economics become much easier . Our faculty is quite spacious and we have a strength of around 50-60 students per section . All the teachers are professor . Exams held every 6 month . It is very tough to pass the examination.

Placement Experience

Campus placement drive occurs every year to make sure every deserving candidate gets his/her job or placement .

Fees and Financial Aid

First year fees is around 10,800 including hostel charges and from next year onward it cuts to 6000 for another 2 years . Cost to study here is very much cheaper . Govt scholarship can be availed . Yes I did multiple internships with my own .

Campus Life

Life at campus is no doubt a lot of good experience and easy to live. We have different fests all across different faculties that held on specific time.

Hostel Facilities

All the necessary facilities are provided by the administration to the students . Meal is also good which is very cheap its cost is as low as 1100 per month.

This course is very useful for me in civil services examination because Optional subject remains important in Upsc examination and if u are already pursuing a degree in a subject which will be your optional in civil services examination then it will be great choice of yours . curriculum prepares me so well. Recently teachers werw changed due to their poor performances in class. This improvement was done. Now exams frequency and timings wero also fine and there was not difficultly level at all

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have interest in psychology that's why I adapt this course. got to know so many things about psychology and which help me to know people better really help me in my day today life. But the professor need to explain more and do not give illusionary examples. Did they have to try to explain in real world scenario. The courses is difficult and the paper is so lengthy give three hours to write and the people is so many that the time is insufficient they need to give more time if they expect to fill 24 pages of answer sheet.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.

At AMU seats are fewer and number of students filling the forms are enormous. Hence, the cut-off is always tol high and for BSC in any stream a minimum cut-off is over 80%. In my time it was 83 for Maths Hons and I guess, I was lucky enough to get it....Read More
