Remarks

I chose to take this college based on KCET ranking. The admission process went smooth, we were informed about the dates well in advance.

Course Curriculum Overview

Being VTU affiliated, course structure is already known, quite normal. The faculty student ratio is also good. Most of the lecturers have Mtech degree, which a few senior lecturers have finished their PhD. Exam structure was normal, 3 internals with enough amount of time to study. If studied properly, internals aren't a headache. The research centre in ECE department is intresting, they helped me to publish a paper in Indiacom conference, it it available in the ieee xplore digital library ( document : 9083711) which can be verified.

Course Fees: INR 75500 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college is continuously trying to encourage students to take up internships under IEEE, some projects in collaboration with IISC Bangalore, some start-ups, and more.

Placement Experience

Placements were quite good in the department of Electronics and communication last year. Many companies like Byju's, tech companies, a few core companies had visited and students clearing the tests and meeting all the requirements had got good packages (more than 10L). After finishing this course, I wish to pursue MS abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got admitted through KCET, I'm in the 7th sem current and I haven't paid anything extra compared to 1st year. 75500 a year i.e. 2 semesters is what I've been paying. I had applied for the scholarship by the Karnataka government which was really helpful.

Campus Life

Social life is moderately good, fests were organized in almost every semesters. The library is quite big with a sufficient amount of standard books. Classrooms are also acceptable, cleaning is also done regularly. There is no proper ground for outdoor games, some indoor games can be played.

From 6th semester we will get the placement assist .almost all mnc and top companies in india visits the college , namely cognizant ,oracle, tcs , infosys , capgemini , accenture , mu sigma , and many others along with startups . few companies offers direct fte roles, whereas few take students as interns and provide fte(full time employment).package will be between 3 to 36 lpa. rules during college placement drive are there will be 3 buckets , less than 7 lpa bucket 1 , 7-15 lpa bucket-2, above 15lpa bucket -3 , if a student gets any offer in specified bucket then he/she wont be eligible to apply for companies withe the salary range of that bucket. They provide international placement opportunities also , specially the zenken company collaboration , helps to get japan companies placement assist.

Placement Experience:

Generally I pefferd this college because of the college's reputation in placments . Students generally get placed into company's in 7th sem . Generally companies like TATA, IBM, Infosys, Amazon , Wistron, Accenture, Xoriant, Hp etc . generally 800 + students gets offers . Highest package is around 30+ Lpa and avearge package is 7 Lpa .MY plan is to try for both placements and also Gate examination
