Remarks

VIT is definitely one of the best institutions in India. If one aspires for quality education for higher studies and opportunities for research work, VIT is for you. They have highly qualified faculties, who guide you throughout your course completion in every possible way. Lab facilities are extremely good. They've also been added into the Limca Book of World Records for the highest number of placements, several years. They conduct a number of webinars, seminars, group discussions, etc enabling more exposure to students. Students grow in their subjects with this kind of expertise from the faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview

There's a healthy ratio of 1:50 faculty to student Classes are well divided into several sections with a strength of 40 to 50 students. So that every student could interact properly with the concerned faculty. Dr. K. V. Bhaskar Rao was our sir in Advanced Microbiology. He's an M. Sc and Ph. D. He is a researcher in Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Marine biology with 2472 citations and 169 publications. He is extremely friendly and interactive with all the students. All the exams were prescheduled and would take place just at the same time. There are projects and research works for students, the good scope for internships abroad.

Course Fees: INR 82000 per year

Placement Experience

From 3 semesters onwards you're eligible for internships. They prepare us well for all the group discussions and PI for placements. There's a record of 92% of students getting selected for placements. VIT has its name in the Limca Book of World Records thrice for providing the highest number of placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are reasonable for such quality education at VIT, Vellore campus. Placement records are extremely high provided there should be good CGPA in the terminal exams.

Campus Life

2 annual fests are conducted. There's a library with a vast collection of books, journals, and research papers.

Placements are not good literally since companies will offer only 3 lpa and below 20 % of the students only gets placed , generally students from 4 th semester are eligible for placements for geology students companies like RAMCO, some other cement industries and GIS based companies will recruit students based on their skill, I'm already working in Geophysical based company after completing my degree I will use that experience to get placed in top oil oriented company

the honest vit review.

Viteee 2021 was held in online mode. there were many cases of cheating because of which the administration then didn't allow zooming in and showed the registration number as the watermark in multiple places. the cutoff went really high as the exam was held before jee and everyone wanted to secure a seat in a good private college. the exam server was v poor it had even crashed in one slot. all the details about the admission fees dates and forms were available on the official site. I am aware of students who are aware of nothing but still are in category 1 in CSE because they cheated and weren't caught, this really boils my blood because even after studying so hard I got category 2. the entrance is usually held offline mode but this was held in online mode and was nothing next to faithfully done....Read More
