The college is a reputed college among all the colleges in the local area. It is close to my home and the teachers are very good and well behaved.

This course was suggested by my teacher and the teachers who belong to this course are enough good they teach us in a very simple method.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 2000 per year

Placement Experience

There is no campusing system but if any student wants placement they can contact our superior and they will help them.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is not too high as compared to other available courses. The students who got very good academic scores can get a scholarship too.

Campus Life

All the students, teachers, and staff are very competitive. They help each other. The students who need a silent place for study can go and sit in the library.

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement is a race here. Handfull of good companies with good roles will come but they take good chunk of students. So be prepare for that and don't worry about getting good companies, here many companies offers better packages than those good companies.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester (for btech students), 9th semester (for dual degree students) students are eligible for campus placements. there are numerous companies which visit the campus...and generally nearly all students get placed during the placement season, but recently there has been recession and companies are not taking less number of the students than they usually do.

My bitter-sweet experience about Prabhat Kumar College

To get admission in MA (English) in Prabhat Kumar College, one must have to score more than 60% in graduation level in English and then he will be qualified based on the numbers of available seats. You can find application form, fees and dates from the official website of prabhat Kumar College. For reservation there have some additional scholarships which is 6-12k per year.
