Placement Experience

4

Yeah I have done internship in this college where we are given around 10, 000 stipend every month. As it is the biggest college of Chhattisgarh so we are having a lot of patient load.

College Events

3.5

Annual fest happens every year near november where sports finearts litrature events and celebrations take place. Best days of any undergraduate every year. time to make senior junior relations. intercollege competition s are also held with nearby colleges like aiims.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Compairing to private once its very feasible but within the govt. Colleges of whole country it's bit higher. top colleges fees of government medical colleges are very less like 5000-10000 but here in the biggest college of Chhattisgarh we are having 4-5 times of that.

Fees and Financial Aid

Those belonging to backward classes can gain scholorships and only if they are carrying income certificate.

Campus Life

4

There happens an annual fest every year where fine arts, dancing, singing and sports are held. the best days of every year. Rest no other extracurricular activities are there. Also what more a medical college can do but debates are there in litrature events.

Hostel Facilities

3

Yes I have opted. its looks like home for me. One room accomodates 2 persons. there are infact 3 hostels. 2 for under graduation and 1 for post graduation. Amount of money to be paid every year is 3500 only.

Alumni/Alumna

It really good to see seniors on the alumini meet. Refreshes the past days. We really do enjoy a lot.

Admission

Every year there happens an exam called neet (national eligibility and entrance exam )for undergraduates we have to register. give exam and then according to the merit list of all the colleges so we can apply any colleges according to our marks if we are eligible for that we will be admitted to that college in the counselling.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties are good they have experience but the management of the lectures to be held in the posting management is very poor so that it is sometimes very difficult for the students to study with good concepts. Otherwise all facilities are provided here which are required to train a medical student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect that influenced me is the externals and clinicals that made by decision to take this course because more than theory is the postings and clinicals which are neccessary to become a good doctor and also helps you to gain confidence. This is not just a curriculum but is a priority academics that prepares a student to save ones life which is far more important than just learning or reading. And yes it prepares us very well through clinicals and postings in addition to theory lectures or exams. As per my view, improvements in posting durations is very important than theory durations due to the priority. And yes teaching methods may get improve if some more fresh cadavers may get introduced in college every year. Exam are held in two phases, 3 terminals and 1 final. 3 terminals are held whole year with 3 to 4 months gap and finals at the end of the semester which is the final exam. Terminals exams are easy and quick whereas finals are tough and time consuming.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you're getting into MBBS, you have cleared neet and you have a slight idea of what you're getting yourself into. The subjects are tough, especially anatomy, because of the vastness of the subject. But if you're consistent and making lil efforts everyday, it's achievable without hampering the fun part of college life. Here are a few gem of resources that everyone uses for first year. Biochemistry - jambhulkar notes, Vasudevan/ satyanarayan book Lippincott for advanced studies Physiology - Sembulingam and Guyton. I swear by them. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Ganong for in depth studies Anatomy - Johari for exams Vishram Singh for easy to understand language and super simple diagrams Gray's anatomy for in depth understanding. Embryology - vishram Singh Histology - IB Singh Dissection - Cunningham or Mercy Navis There will be 2 terminal exams 1 pre University and then the final University. Don't rely on lectures to prepare you for this. You'll have to teach yoursel
