Remarks

Good- college is very nice in terms of academics and placement Slightly bad- you will not get that help from management to organise and do any events or any kind of funding that you have to manage as a society in college from students who are willing to join your society

Entrance Preview

I appeared for UP Technical University enatrance exam and got a good score, I chose this college because it is closer to Delhi and having good exposure also on the basis of placements and academic, it was one of the finest college. After scoring in entrance exam, I went through counselling process where one has to chose the college on the basis of your preference.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I opted for Information Technology branch and cources were related to computer operations, programming languages(C,visual basic, java), operating systems, database management system and also some flavour of management studies

Internships Opportunities

IBM offered amany certification cources like rational application developers, rational application tester, db2, Tivoli and also given an opportunity to learn six sigma cources as internship, though no stipends were offered but in terms of exposure it was good.

Placement Experience

3.5

When we talk about placement it offers placement for a large number of students at similar package than some students at very high package, for example Infosys hired around 300+ studentsTechmahindra hired around 100+Other major companies are like birla soft,Headstrong, samsong, adobe,CSC and many more for it branch.

College Events

4.5

In terms of cultural events our college gave many good memories. We had saperate society for each of the branches and they organized many events starting from the year, like orientation program for each of the society and we had around 13 society, then they had some specific goal so they worked for that like nibble computer society helps spreading initial computer knowledge for a new student who is not that aware of it, illuminati society was for dramma mime and other cultural fests and events. we had a techno cultural fest at the end of the year that was named as zelicon

Fee Structure And Facilities

At that time I felt the fee structure is a bit expensive but when I compared it with other private colleges, it was not that expensive, our hostel was taken on lease for some time by college si that was saperate part of fee, that was 32k per annum when I joined and was around 54 or 56 when I passed out. But now college has built their own hostel inside campus only si thats not a problem.

Fees and Financial Aid

College or I should say university offers a cashback kind of sceme to return the basis fee back to those students whose father's annual income is less than one lakhs. And I saw many of my freinds been benifited by this service and other than this I don't remember they offered any scholarships or anything

Hostel Facilities

3.5

our hostel was taken on lease for some time by college si that was saperate part of fee, that was 32k per annum when I joined and was around 54 or 56 when I passed out. But now college has built their own hostel inside campus only si thats not a problem. Also at that time there were also many hostel which were not associated with college but was around it and those were not that expensive. Good quality of food in hostel mess breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and tee followed by dinner.

Alumni/Alumna

We have an annual aluminum meet and seniors are invited, I was able to interact with some of my passed out seniors at that time.and I am very much in touch with seniors of my time and they helped or still helps me to build my career better.

Exam Structure

We had five subjects in each semester, each semester is of six months and in that period three sessionals are to be given for all five subjects which makes fifteen sessional exams and lab exams for all practical subjects were also conducted but good this is that they were conducted on mostly once a week.

Faculty

4

In terms of skills of faculties I would rate my college high, because each on of them were complete in themselves fir their subjects, some of them were even nationally recognized for their knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jims is a ipu college, so yeah curriculum depends entirely on ipu University. First year is similar for all btech courses. Or is easy to earn marks in lab and soft skill subjects but maths or physics is hard. Your 12th basics should be very good, else these two subjects will affect your overall SGPA badly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. They should focus on current tech and provide more learning opportunities in AI.

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
